when i was kid i made a drawing with magnifying glasses directed the sun's rays to mars, because i wanted to find a way to warm mars and make it alive again like the earth i had shown the drawing to my father he laughed at me and told me stop dreaming, I had felt so alone

Oooh! I just love Fresnel lenses and can't help but think they could benefit us in a lot more ways than we are using currently. You cannot just leave them lying around tho---they can catch things on fire remarkably fast!

Depends on the material they used. Some rocks break instead of melt when exposed to high temperatures at a single point
