I used Cursor to vibe code a simple fishing game prototype on the Unity Engine. Here's my learnings: - I did not use any Unity MCP for this. The game was built entirely by Cursor models (Sonnet 4.6 for execution and Opus 4.6 for planning) - The model was able to set up the game, getting the basic game mechanics working fairly quickly - I had to use the Unity Game Editor UI to attach components to the in-game objects manually, but it was quite easy to follow the instructions given by the Cursor model - Unity Editor is huge and slow! Compared to Godot, I find the UI really clunky I feel tired looking at it - Unity Assets Marketplace is amazing, there are so many amazing art assets there (like the ones I am using for this game). This is probably the biggest strength of Unity. - I had some issues with restoring checkpoints, probably because of how Unity Game Editor UI being really clunky and I had to manually adjust things in the Editor, which the model doesnt have knowledge of Overall, the results turn out pretty decent, but it was a rather frustrating experience, especially when I had to debug issues or rollback changes. I'll explore more vibe coding on Unity but for now, I think I prefer Godot as a game engine. I just wish there is a Godot Asset Marketplace!

Bronny James on national television in the McDonald’s All-American game. Some publications had him rated as a 5-star recruit. Others had him rated as a 4-star recruit. A couple of my boys watched the McDonald’s game just to see Bronny stink it up. They swore before the game that Bronny had no business being there, and that he was about to be exposed by far more talented high school players. I was bracing myself for phone calls. I knew that my boys were going to call me talking trash if Bronny stunk it up in this game. Then the game started…….and it was QUICKLY evident that there was a future first round draft pick on the floor playing against a bunch of college recruits. The previous day, he came in 2nd place in the dunk contest. Now here he was looking like Klay Thompson in the game! I never received those phone calls! I wonder why…………..hmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

At the end of the day, as I discussed with Jordan Peterson, there are just two games to be played, one real, one Woke. The real game is called civilization. The false game is called power. A long post/🧵: The real divide between Woke and not Woke is in power. The Woke game is the power game, and it is a parasite on the real game, which is civilization. Here's roughly how Jordan described the foundation of this idea. There are various rules, norms, etc., in the game society ultimately plays, and these create a hierarchy that is based upon competence, mostly organically, obviously imperfectly. If the rules of the game are good enough, the imperfections (natural corruptions) are minor and society thrives. If they are not, you'll have problems. This is the real game of building society, and it ultimately has to favor competence. This game must be called "civilization" because that's not just its goal but it is also what it does. It civilizes us beyond our base instincts and impulses so we can work together productively in a healthy manner that generates prosperity. As Jordan put it, this game is also a reservoir of value, and reservoirs of value create parasites. What are these civilizational parasites? They’re parallel games organized by and around malignant psychopathological modes like Dark Tetrad traits, psychopathy, and Cluster-B disorders: histrionic, borderline, antisocial, and narcissistic. These malignant pathologies render people incompetent except at manipulation, so they cannot rise far in a healthy civilizational hierarchy. What do they do, then, to gain power and status in life in a game they cannot actually play? They define a parasitic parallel game and rope people into playing it. It is parasitic in that it draws off the real game (civilization) and mimics its form so that the hosts (people in society) are less likely to realize it’s there, but it doesn’t build or create of its own. It siphons and tears down. What drives this game is failing to see what makes the civilizational game and the hierarchy it produces legitimate in the first place. This is characteristic of the psychopathologies at its heart. The narcissist imagines the world should be serving himself at the top, but it isn’t. The problem can’t be himself, so it must be that the game is illegitimate. Otherwise, he’d be at the top, but he isn’t. Therefore, the game is corrupt. His histrionic nature makes him a victim of the real game, preying upon emotions like empathy and righteous indignation to recruit followers. Because of his Dark Tetrad alignment, his game is not only illegitimate but toxic. It’s inherently sadistic, cruel to its recruits in the way typical of all cults—alternating punishment and leniency or even love-bombing. It’s dishonest. It’s psychologically broken from reality. It’s also a Machiavellian game, which means it has no interest in moral or ethical behavior but only in power. Thus, this rival game to the game of civilization is the game of power. The parasitic game—that is, the power game—is based on a fundamental failure to understand the legitimacy of the civilizational game or the approximately legitimate hierarchy it produces. This is a result of its narcissism, mostly. The game cannot be legitimate because the psychopath isn’t on top of it, where he sees himself constantly as a projection from his frail ego. It sees power in the real hierarchy, though, which it can perceive and understand, and for which it blames most of its troubles. What this means is that the (Woke) power game develops a critical theory of the existing legitimate civilization game. That’s why Woke means “using critical theory (and activism).” A critical theory exists not to articulate a vision—at least not beyond a Utopia after the cult power game holds power to enforce its power game long enough—but to “criticize those aspects of the existing society we wish to change,” as Max Horkheimer, creator of the Critical Theory, put it. The critical theory of the power game exists to recruit by delegitimizing the civilization game in the minds of some of its players, usually ones who aren’t succeeding as well. It picks at “contradictions,” failures, and imperfections while casting the whole civilization game as corrupt and unjust. It offers itself as the only alternative to civilization game while pulling at the threads of the civilization game that allow people to believe in it. It all proceeds from the Woke failure to understand the legitimacy of the hierarchy of the civilization game as it proceeds from its set of rules. Misunderstanding legitimacy leads it to conclude that all hierarchies are actually based in power, and all power is fundamentally arbitrary. That is, they do not believe all power is illegitimate. They believe power is the only legitimate thing in any hierarchy, but they also believe that power is located in persons like themselves through their narcissism and projection. Think of Voldemort as an icon of this mode of thinking: “there is no good or evil, only power and those too weak to seek it.” Of course, that quintessential Dark Tetrad perspective is what ensures the psychopathological power game will be rigged to make sure the psychopaths are attracted to it and rise to its top. This belief is what we call Woke. The Woke game is the power game, and it is a parasitic competitor to the civilization game. There is no overlap between these two games. To adopt the power game is to abandon the civilization game entirely and, in fact, to become its enemy. But James, you might ask, isn’t there power in civilization? Yes, there is, and necessarily, but it isn’t what defines the civilization game. It’s a byproduct of the game, not the game itself. The civilization game is fundamentally the building out of an organic and dynamic hierarchy based on a set of rules, or what some people call “muh principles,” that will succeed or fail for that civilization in direct proportion to three things. 1) How aligned with the truth are the rules of the civilization game? 2) How aligned with justice are the rules of the civilization game? 3) How willing are the participants of the civilization game to defend their principles and their game, including against socio-parasitical perversion? The more aligned with truth and justice a civilization game is, the more successful it will be, and the more legitimate its hierarchy. The power that results as a byproduct is extremely legitimate in a highly aligned civilization where people haven’t forgotten their charge to defend the game itself, which is what we call responsibility. A civilization game strongly aligned with truth and justice filled with a preponderance of responsible people will produce a thriving, prosperous society. It only works this way every time. Not everyone is responsible, though. Some are also incompetent because of various pathologies (not talking about for other reasons). Those pathological players may, under certain circumstances, create a parasitic side game with themselves on top through a variety of strategies that mimic the values and principles of the real game while distorting them into power plays because their game is power, as discussed above. They will recruit into that game primarily from those who are resentful of the real game for any variety of reasons, and getting recruited into the power game from the civilization game is called “going Woke.”

At the end of the day, as I discussed with Jordan Peterson, there are just two games to be played, one real, one Woke. The real game is called civilization. The false game is called power. A long post/🧵: The real divide between Woke and not Woke is in power. The Woke game is the power game, and it is a parasite on the real game, which is civilization. Here's roughly how Jordan described the foundation of this idea. There are various rules, norms, etc., in the game society ultimately plays, and these create a hierarchy that is based upon competence, mostly organically, obviously imperfectly. If the rules of the game are good enough, the imperfections (natural corruptions) are minor and society thrives. If they are not, you'll have problems. This is the real game of building society, and it ultimately has to favor competence. This game must be called "civilization" because that's not just its goal but it is also what it does. It civilizes us beyond our base instincts and impulses so we can work together productively in a healthy manner that generates prosperity. As Jordan put it, this game is also a reservoir of value, and reservoirs of value create parasites. What are these civilizational parasites? They’re parallel games organized by and around malignant psychopathological modes like Dark Tetrad traits, psychopathy, and Cluster-B disorders: histrionic, borderline, antisocial, and narcissistic. These malignant pathologies render people incompetent except at manipulation, so they cannot rise far in a healthy civilizational hierarchy. What do they do, then, to gain power and status in life in a game they cannot actually play? They define a parasitic parallel game and rope people into playing it. It is parasitic in that it draws off the real game (civilization) and mimics its form so that the hosts (people in society) are less likely to realize it’s there, but it doesn’t build or create of its own. It siphons and tears down. What drives this game is failing to see what makes the civilizational game and the hierarchy it produces legitimate in the first place. This is characteristic of the psychopathologies at its heart. The narcissist imagines the world should be serving himself at the top, but it isn’t. The problem can’t be himself, so it must be that the game is illegitimate. Otherwise, he’d be at the top, but he isn’t. Therefore, the game is corrupt. His histrionic nature makes him a victim of the real game, preying upon emotions like empathy and righteous indignation to recruit followers. Because of his Dark Tetrad alignment, his game is not only illegitimate but toxic. It’s inherently sadistic, cruel to its recruits in the way typical of all cults—alternating punishment and leniency or even love-bombing. It’s dishonest. It’s psychologically broken from reality. It’s also a Machiavellian game, which means it has no interest in moral or ethical behavior but only in power. Thus, this rival game to the game of civilization is the game of power. The parasitic game—that is, the power game—is based on a fundamental failure to understand the legitimacy of the civilizational game or the approximately legitimate hierarchy it produces. This is a result of its narcissism, mostly. The game cannot be legitimate because the psychopath isn’t on top of it, where he sees himself constantly as a projection from his frail ego. It sees power in the real hierarchy, though, which it can perceive and understand, and for which it blames most of its troubles. What this means is that the (Woke) power game develops a critical theory of the existing legitimate civilization game. That’s why Woke means “using critical theory (and activism).” A critical theory exists not to articulate a vision—at least not beyond a Utopia after the cult power game holds power to enforce its power game long enough—but to “criticize those aspects of the existing society we wish to change,” as Max Horkheimer, creator of the Critical Theory, put it. The critical theory of the power game exists to recruit by delegitimizing the civilization game in the minds of some of its players, usually ones who aren’t succeeding as well. It picks at “contradictions,” failures, and imperfections while casting the whole civilization game as corrupt and unjust. It offers itself as the only alternative to civilization game while pulling at the threads of the civilization game that allow people to believe in it. It all proceeds from the Woke failure to understand the legitimacy of the hierarchy of the civilization game as it proceeds from its set of rules. Misunderstanding legitimacy leads it to conclude that all hierarchies are actually based in power, and all power is fundamentally arbitrary. That is, they do not believe all power is illegitimate. They believe power is the only legitimate thing in any hierarchy, but they also believe that power is located in persons like themselves through their narcissism and projection. Think of Voldemort as an icon of this mode of thinking: “there is no good or evil, only power and those too weak to seek it.” Of course, that quintessential Dark Tetrad perspective is what ensures the psychopathological power game will be rigged to make sure the psychopaths are attracted to it and rise to its top. This belief is what we call Woke. The Woke game is the power game, and it is a parasitic competitor to the civilization game. There is no overlap between these two games. To adopt the power game is to abandon the civilization game entirely and, in fact, to become its enemy. But James, you might ask, isn’t there power in civilization? Yes, there is, and necessarily, but it isn’t what defines the civilization game. It’s a byproduct of the game, not the game itself. The civilization game is fundamentally the building out of an organic and dynamic hierarchy based on a set of rules, or what some people call “muh principles,” that will succeed or fail for that civilization in direct proportion to three things. 1) How aligned with the truth are the rules of the civilization game? 2) How aligned with justice are the rules of the civilization game? 3) How willing are the participants of the civilization game to defend their principles and their game, including against socio-parasitical perversion? The more aligned with truth and justice a civilization game is, the more successful it will be, and the more legitimate its hierarchy. The power that results as a byproduct is extremely legitimate in a highly aligned civilization where people haven’t forgotten their charge to defend the game itself, which is what we call responsibility. First Impression About Neverness To Everness CBT This will be a long or short one and I mostly have plenty of good to say about the game so far and some bad. First I want to get out the way: Graphics In short, we already know its good! But this is definitely playing some part on performance on my end and it wasn't entirely bad experience at all just some fps drops here and there but its playable and 90% of time it was smooth so the performance issues is a easy fix (apart from some I've seen have already started having crash issues so it'll be different for all of us depending on your specs) I'm well in range of the specs so if I'm having some small issues that mean whoever has worse specs will have it worse. Performance/Optimizing the game etc is not something that should be ignored anyway and most of the time developers of recent time feel like they don't care about improving it, I hope NTE by release or during the test will fix the issues by then (crash problems etc + its day one of the test anyway) Second: Combat Just like wuthering waves, the games combat is fun (I still think it can benefit more on having more effects/impact frames etc to really nail the combat experience...) I know people have compared some characters to WuWa characters as "plagirism" but most part alot of characters in the game have their own charm and uniqueness to the combat The boss enemies also may have some unpredictable patterns and can put alot of pressure or aggression on you but isn't exactly too hard thankfully! But its still great because I like how fast pace and intense the fightings are when your in the boss fights Common enemies don't have much going on for them. Third: Story Unlike Genshin and Wuthering Waves the story for NTE or Neverness to Everness is actually more "Human" one of my viewers described it as and I actually agree, I'm not saying WuWa nor Genshin storytelling is bad but the way NTE tells its story is more morden and you can easily be engaged with it and understand everything clearly! The story is also pretty goofy and just like zenless they have great animations and (VERY) expressive with their animations which makes for great overall experience and I prefer this storytelling the most out of other games. (this is a personal preference) The gacha system is some sort of board game but the game gacha is F2P friendly?(For now for what I've seen) and there's no 50/50.. I was also almost able to max out alot of characters that aren't S rank in almost a day too Thats all so far, I'm still experiencing more as I go but this sums up my 5 hours so far into the game on stream and would love to see y'all in the next stream tomorrow. After I reach 50 hours or more I will do a video in conclusion about the game and what more I would love to see. TDLR: The game is good/great don't worry, just some small stuff that can make it better or some stuff that need fixing (despite the combat plagirism drama that was going on)

Real quick thoughts on Bellum - which entered Beta yesterday. 1) There is nothing else like it. It's the only game designed specifically to force teamwork in a hardcore PVP tactical shooter. It does it in new ways: SA tools locked to leadership roles, novel respawn mechanics requiring you to maneuver near teammates and punishes lone wolves, and more. 2) It's a game about gunfights, and it does them so damn well. Fire and maneuver works. Fire superiority matters. Cover, concealment, obscuration, even IMTs are rewarded while bonzai charges are nearly always fatal. 3) I think what speaks to me most is how well it models the cognitive overload of a maneuver leader. A Squad leader in this game is monitoring/working up to 2 nets + local at once - Command, Squad, and VOIP. This is modeled in other games, of course. But Bellum adds some spice - your hand comes off your weapon to activate the PTT, so you can't fire particularly well or do medical tasks while working a net. By default, you have platoon assault net in one ear and squad assault in the other. It feels like I'm wearing peltors for an FMP or going on target. But despite all of the stimulus, leaders have to stay locked in to win, painting the picture for their squads, reporting higher, marking the map, and getting shit done despite the chaos. It's in day 2 of beta, so I'll hold my criticisms for now. But this game is on track to do some things we've not seen before, and to do them exceptionally well. Very excited to see where this one goes.

Real quick thoughts on Bellum - which entered Beta yesterday. 1) There is nothing else like it. It's the only game designed specifically to force teamwork in a hardcore PVP tactical shooter. It does it in new ways: SA tools locked to leadership roles, novel respawn mechanics requiring you to maneuver near teammates and punishes lone wolves, and more. 2) It's a game about gunfights, and it does them so damn well. Fire and maneuver works. Fire superiority matters. Cover, concealment, obscuration, even IMTs are rewarded while bonzai charges are nearly always fatal. 3) I think what speaks to me most is how well it models the cognitive overload of a maneuver leader. A Squad leader in this game is monitoring/working up to 2 nets + local at once - Command, Squad, and VOIP. This is modeled in other games, of course. But Bellum adds some spice - your hand comes off your weapon to activate the PTT, so you can't fire particularly well or do medical tasks while working a net. By default, you have platoon assault net in one ear and squad assault in the other. It feels like I'm wearing peltors for an FMP or going on target. But despite all of the stimulus, leaders have to stay locked in to win, painting the picture for their squads, reporting higher, marking the map, and getting shit done despite the chaos.
