Some on the left reject Thomas Jefferson because he was a “slaveholder.” Some on the right reject him because he was a “deist” & “an enemy of Christianity.” Both are foolish. A fun teaching moment tonight. 🇺🇸

Jesus Christ is God

Vivek, you didn’t answer his question. You dodged it and deviated to Thomas Jefferson. Smart, but we’re not falling for it. The United States is a Christian nation and we don’t worship pagan gods. One Nation Under God.

This is how secularization happened and how the west got into her current situation. Relegating Christianity to this vague private affair gets you nowhere. The US must be led by Christians in a Christian manner.

He said "Hinduism is a wicked pagan religion". that's unacceptable. yes, media & academia made sure that it's seen like this. but in the 1970s "Indian wisdom" was valued. Not any more. certain big persons may have realized that it makes people free👇

Thomas Jefferson sucks we are team Hamilton

Lesson learned here: do NOT try and dunk on Vivek. It doesn’t work.. ever

Jefferson would look like the most religious man around compared to some of today's Christians. He took Jesus's words extra seriously. Jefferson believed he was a real Christian because he believed he "correctly" applied the doctrines of Christ. Do I disagree with him? Yes, but that doesn't stop him from being my favorite founder.

All the kid was asking for is clarification moving forward. Your religious rhetoric is disingenuous and used to get Christians, who would typically never vote for a demon worshipper, to believe you are talking about the same God as them, Jesus Christ. ✝️

He who is not against us is for us -Jesus Too often Christians fight for ideological purity instead of doing the mission they were given Many non-Christian leaders have furthered the cause of God. Christians in name only are sometimes worse than non-believers (Biden, Pelosi...)

Thomas Jefferson was an enemy to Christianity. He was also a radical who supported the French Revolution. He was a bad man.
