Cricket nets?

You're doing it wrong, the bowler comes from outside the nets.

How's the knee feeling?

It’s about 90%, can’t run full speed yet

That's great. Good luck and take your time. I literally feel your pain 😀.

How’s the kneee holding up?

Love seeing Dr. Baker demonstrate this at 59. You don’t always need an hour-long workout to create a meaningful training stimulus. Short bursts of high-intensity movement can challenge cardiovascular fitness, power, neuromuscular coordination, and the fast-twitch muscle fibers that become increasingly important as we age. The key is matching the intensity to the individual. Sprinting may be appropriate for someone already trained for it; for others, the same principle can be applied with brisk uphill walking, stairs, cycling, rowing, or short controlled intervals. As I’ve seen throughout 40 years in physical therapy, maintaining the ability to move quickly and generate power matters tremendously for function and independence. Train for the life you want to still be living at 70, 80, and beyond. 💪

That’s not how you use a cricket pitch…
