The player PLAYS THROUGH Myst by solving puzzles. The player exists as an afterthought in Mixtape. As the game is unwilling to let them achieve failure. A story with no stakes is not a story. It is wish fulfillment. Masturbation has more functional use.

It got a 10/10 because game reviewers like ign don’t know how to play games.

This is my exact thoughts about this game. Like I'm not kidding, I was born in 91, I KNOW that decade, but this game captures none of what made the 90s great. It's pure astroturf and nepotism.

Prob like a 5, the visuals are beautiful and it def has its moments, but i couldnt stand the characters in a narrative, character driven game.

The characters portray teenagers perfectly. Selfish, stupid and full of themselves. This game was clearly made by people who never grew out of this mentality.

After seeing this: The main character makes me think of a tonne of insufferable women I know, the type of girl that listens to shit like "I love the way you lie by Rihanna" & they are like "This is so my life" The cringe makes me want to dangle from a ceiling fan.

Seriously, we have to question these odd 10/10 reviews. The best case scenario for them bribing reviewers is that the game gets a lot of sales from reviews and the worst case is that they only get called stupid or something. It's hurting the integrity of the industry.
