China sent a new satellite group into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province on Tuesday. The satellite group was launched at 19:59 (Beijing Time) aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket and successfully entered its preset orbit. The satellites will make up the Spacesail Constellation, a Chinese low-orbit satellite network intended for commercial use. This launch marked the 642nd flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series, according to the launch center.

But we're taking it one step at a time. Building out the business, getting great unit economics, proving out one use case at a time." "Generation 1 of what we're building is this two-part spacecraft — satellite and pod. The satellite has all the process equipment. The pod just has the finished good. When we're done, the pod survives, but all that process equipment and everything on board burns up." "Generation 2 will be flying in 2029. Think of it as that heat shield material just envelops everything. So now the satellite plus the pod both survive. That'll probably look like a mini space plane." "By the end of the decade, we'll start to invest into fixed pieces of infrastructure in orbit. Early on they'll probably just look like a satellite with a little docking port. We're less than an hour into this UFO hearing and I've already heard some significant claims. Tim Gallaudet said we have satellite VIDEO of UFOs. Michael Shellenberger said we have full motion video, FLIR, and Infrared. We have Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites recording, and full color video. This LEO satellite video is real. No one went back in time 10 years ago to make it with what we're learning TODAY in this hearing.

Polaris Dawn will break several records, as SpaceX wants to fly a manned mission through the Van Allen belt, perform the first-ever commercial extravehicular activity (EVA), and a laser satellite-to-spacecraft link with Starlink.

And they're at an altitude of about 550 kilometers, which is called generally low earth orbit, because they're at low Earth orbit. Their latency is low because the distances is not that far, compared to Geo stationary satellite, 36,000 kilometers. So you've got 1000s of satellites providing low latency, high speed internet throughout the world, and they are interconnected as well. So there are laser links between the satellites. So it forms sort of a laser mesh, so that if, let's say if cables are damaged or cut, like fiber cables, the satellites can communicate between each other and provide connectivity.
