Did i just turn it off or is it turning back on?

@brandnarb

There was a *turn on* sound many generatios ago. People complained it’s too loud - and it was, especially if you turn the headset after putting it on. Well, instead of lowering the sound volume, they removed it completely.

Thanks that sort of explains things. But what about the LED?

It's a headset. You're meant to put it on your head first, not watch it sit on a desk. "find me any device made in the last 5 years that acts like this" Apple Vision Pro!

Vision Pro puts an image on the front display in a second or two, but I agree the image should cover the whole display so it’s easier to see and it could use a noise too!

I mean there was a "boot start" noise way back in the Quest 1 days (that was loud enough to be heard while it's not being worn) but people were about finding it annoying and it was removed.

For real? I never heard anyone mention that.
