One of my favourite game stories this year was LEGO Voyagers. A touching, beautiful insight into friendship told through LEGO bricks. (Hit close to home ) But LEGO games are 30 years old, and we've had some absolutely banger titles. It's been amazing getting to experience them from when I was young all the way up until now. Boom! Open source LegoGPT is a building AI, and sure it can be used for Legos but it can also be used for Lego-like building of homes. LegoGPT converts meshes to Lego in one step using 1×1, 1×2, 1×4, 1×6, 1×8, 2×2, 2×4, and 2×6 bricks. Then they evaluate the stability of the design. Finally, they render an image and ask GPT-4o to produce captions to go with the image. This sent to robots and they complete the real-time build. This can absolutely scale and as with Legos, you can use smaller pieces for higher resolution. Testing it detail now with robot assembly. Link:

Nobody's going hungry in that house, obviously.” “One of the ways that people commit food stamp fraud or SNAP fraud is you get a card and it's got a certain amount of value to it, then you sell it for less than the value of what you can buy in terms of food, but you sell it for cash. It creates incentives for people to, number one, acquire as many cards as possible, number two, to keep as high a balance on these cards as possible. I've seen cards as much as $20,000, this was on an EBT card. So how does that happen — People are just kept on the program for years, and they keep rolling these balances up and whether they're using the card or not. they're supposed to get rid of it and expunge the benefits after 9 months. But if all you go and do is buy a stick of gum once every 9 months, your balance in your card, even if you're no longer on SNAP, that card is still good. It's happening across the country. This lady bought a $100 Home Depot gift card at Target 🎯as a token of appreciation for a client of hers, however when they went to cash in the gift card they were informed that there were no monies available because of the card had already been used. This leaves the client feeling like they’ve been the victim of some kind of cruel prank and the purchaser feeling like she had been scammed. When the lady returned to Target with the receipt in hand she was promptly informed that gift cards are nonrefundable, leaving her not only frustrated but out the $100 for the original purchase price. How did it been a Target gift card the problem could have been easily remedied, but because the gift card was for a different retailer now both parties can claim they are not responsible. Has anyone else heard of this happening ? What is the remedy here ? The Home Depot
