someone just rebuilt claude code in pure python and made it ~230x cheaper to run it's called clawcodex. a full from-scratch port of the claude code agent loop. 230k+ lines of python, MIT licensed it keeps your request prefix byte-stable, so DeepSeek's prompt cache covers your entire system +...

install these before your next long Claude Code session if your Opus 5.5 bill hurts and you don’t know where to start, copy this: claude-code-router: sits in front of Claude Code and sends each request to the cheapest model that can do it. Haiku does the grep, Opus only gets the hard part. 37k stars rtk: shrinks test, build and git output before the model sees it. one binary, up to 90% less bash output in your context. 83k stars claude-mem: remembers what happened in your past sessions and feeds back only the relevant part, so you stop paying to re-explain your project every morning. 100k stars context-mode: a huge tool output goes into a local database instead of your context window, and Claude pulls out only the lines it needs. 18k stars caveman: makes Claude answer in short telegraphic sentences. code stays identical, and output is the expensive side on Opus 5.5 ($20 per million). 51k stars token-optimizer: a local dashboard that shows where your tokens actually went, and keeps your work alive across compactions. 1.9k stars token-savior: replaces whole-file reads with symbol lookups, so Claude reads the function and not the 2,000 lines around it code-review-graph: maps your repo as a graph and gives Claude only the code connected to the change you’re reviewing jev-ultrafast: a browser agent where Jev picks every click, and a text model wakes up only when something has to be typed. 16,758 stars none of them makes Opus smarter. every one stops it from paying for work it never needed to do the full setup with scripts is in the article. do the measuring step first, so you know what you actually saved

this is pure f*cking treasure Anthropic devs just posted 20 GitHub repos that turn your Claude Code into a f*cking engineering team: Exposed for Opus 5.5 1. rtk: squeezes command output before it hits your context. the authors claim 60-90% fewer tokens 2. claude-mem: memory across sessions. records what the agent did and brings back what matters 3. ccusage: shows where your tokens and money went. one command, npx ccusage 4. Serena: search and edit code by meaning, not by text 5. Context7: up-to-date library docs, so Claude stops writing for last year's API 6. claude-context: your whole codebase searchable through MCP 7. Repomix: packs an entire repo into one AI-friendly file skills and method 8. superpowers: a skills framework and a full development methodology. the one almost everyone installs 9. skills: the official Agent Skills repo from Anthropic 10. spec-kit: spec-driven development, from GitHub itself 11. agents: a plugin marketplace for Claude Code and six other harnesses 12. claude-code-templates: ready configs and monitoring from one CLI 13. claude-code-hooks-mastery: hooks explained with working examples 14. awesome-claude-code: the hand-picked map of everything else running more than one agent 15. container-use: a separate container for every agent, so they stop breaking each other 16. claude-squad: several terminal agents in one window 17. Happy: control your agents from your phone, iOS and Android 18. claude-code-router: route requests across different models 19. ccstatusline: a status line that shows what your session is doing 20. tweakcc: edit Claude Code's own system prompts, toolsets and themes the stack in one line: memory keeps the context, skills set the method, containers let you run five agents instead of one. check each repo before you install. save this.

STOP BURNING YOUR OPUS 5.5 LIMIT FOR NOTHING these 8 repos cut what Claude reads, writes and re-reads. copy the list before your next long session: headroom: shrinks tool output, logs and files before they reach the model, and keeps the originals so Claude can pull them back when it needs them. 75k stars claude-context: semantic search over your whole codebase, so Claude fetches the relevant snippets and doesn’t read whole files to find them. 12k stars lean-ctx: a local layer that compresses file reads and shell output. a file Claude already read costs about 13 tokens the second time. 3.8k stars openwolf: hooks that keep a project index and session notes, so Claude skips files it already read and doesn’t lose its work at compaction. 2.1k stars claude-token-efficient: one CLAUDE.md that keeps answers short. nothing to install, and output is the $20-per-million side of Opus 5.5. 6.1k stars jcodemunch-mcp: indexes the repo once, then Claude asks for one function and gets just that. it claims 95% less code reading. 2.5k stars ccusage: reads your local Claude Code logs and shows tokens and cost by day and by session. 19k stars Claude-Code-Usage-Monitor: live usage bars and a forecast of when you’ll hit your limit. 8.6k stars none of them makes Opus better. each one just stops it from paying for tokens it didn’t need start with the last two: see where your limit actually goes, then pick two tools from the top. the full setup with scripts is in the article

THIS MIGHT BE THE #1 OPEN-SOURCE REPO FOR CLAUDE CODE RIGHT NOW. IT GIVES CLAUDE A MEMORY AND SLASHES YOUR TOKEN COST ON EVERY QUESTION The repo is safishamsi/graphify, a free open-source skill that turns any codebase into a knowledge graph Claude Code can read instantly. Instead of grepping through your files every session, Claude gets a map of how everything connects The problem it fixes: Every time you ask Claude Code about a big repo, it does the same thing, greps through dozens of files like a brute-force Ctrl+F, blows through your context window, and sometimes still misses the answer hiding in a file nobody searched. Claude Code has no memory of how your project is structured. Every session starts from zero What it does: It maps your entire codebase into a knowledge graph, capturing not just which files exist, but which functions depend on which, which modules are central, and which files cluster around the same concern. Claude queries the map instead of scanning files How it works, three passes: 1. Code structure, free and local. Tree-sitter parses your files and pulls out classes, functions, imports and call graphs. No LLM, no tokens, just your actual code mapped deterministically 2. Audio and video, if you have them. Transcribed locally and folded into the graph 3. Docs, papers, images. Here an LLM does semantic analysis, figuring out what each document means and where it fits. Only the meaning gets sent up, never your raw source It saves you money: Normally a question about a big repo makes Claude spawn explore agents that scan file after file, eating your context window and your token budget before you get an answer. With the graph already built, Claude queries the map instead of re-reading the codebase every time. Same answer, a fraction of the tokens. The graph only gets built once, then a hook rebuilds it after each commit for free, so you never pay that scanning cost again. The bigger the repo, the bigger the gap The best parts: it's a skill, so once installed Claude knows when to use it without you memorizing commands. It works on non-code folders too, point it at docs or notes and it can spin up an Obsidian vault How to add it to your Claude: 1. Install Claude Code if you haven't: npm install -g Paul Jankura-ai/claude-code 2. Add the skill: claude skill add safishamsi/graphify 3. Open your project folder and run /graphify . to build the graph 4. Optional, make it automatic: graphify hook install so the graph rebuilds after every commit That's it. Ask Claude about your repo and it reads the map instead of burning tokens on a file hunt Bookmark this

THIS IS A PURE F*CKING GOLD Anthropic made Agent Skills an open spec and GitHub filled up with entire Claude Code engineering teams for free one repo ships 380 skills, 30+ agents and 70+ commands. another one watches your spend in real time so the team you just installed doesn't quietly eat your weekly limit. nobody is charging for any of it 10 GitHub repos worth opening tonight: 01 wshobson/agents → a plugin marketplace that installs the same agents into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Copilot, so your setup survives switching tools 02 subinium/awesome-claude-code → a curated list of tools, skills, plugins and MCP servers. the map before you start downloading 03 rohitg00/awesome-claude-code-toolkit → 135 agents, 35 curated skills, 42 commands, 176+ plugins, 20 hooks and 14 MCP configs in one place 04 anthropics/skills → the official Agent Skills repo. start here to see the shape of a working SKILL.md before you copy anyone else's 05 alirezarezvani/claude-skills → 380+ skills, 30+ agents and 70+ commands, portable to Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and eight more agents 06 disler/claude-code-hooks-mastery → the hooks reference. this is where you learn to make the agent stop on your rules instead of stopping to ask you 07 muhammadusmangm/claude-code-best-practices → setup, CLAUDE.md templates, multi-agent patterns and cost optimization, written as a wiki instead of a dump 08 Maciek-roboblog/Claude-Code-Usage-Monitor → real-time usage monitor with predictions and warnings, so you find the wall before you hit it 09 Scorpio3310/claude-code-usage-statusline → daily and monthly spend, 5h and weekly limit meters, per-model quotas, all local, no API key 10 eugeniughelbur/obsidian-second-brain → persistent memory as plain markdown in an Obsidian vault, shared across Claude Code, Codex and six other agents install the statusline before you install the agents. you want to watch what the fleet costs while it runs, not find out on Sunday when the weekly meter is already flat then hand the first team one job with an obvious finish line: one reviewed PR, one brief, one red test turned green keep the pieces that changed the result and delete the rest the same day. a config you did not write is a config you cannot debug at 2am the repos cost nothing. four agents repeating the same investigation is where the money actually goes save this one, the list only gets longer from here the article below shows how to keep context small, reuse finished work and contain retries, so more of your budget reaches the finished result ↓

THE GUY WHO WON ANTHROPIC'S HACKATHON JUST GAVE AWAY HIS ENTIRE CLAUDE CODE PLAYBOOK FOR FREE. 10 MONTHS OF WORK, ALL PUBLIC Affaan Mustafa won the Anthropic x Forum Ventures hackathon by building a full startup in 8 hours with Claude Code. Then he open-sourced the exact setup that did it. It's called Everything Claude Code, and it turns Claude from one assistant into an entire engineering team Repo: affaan-m/ecc This isn't a prompt pack. It's a system he refined over 10+ months of daily use shipping real products What's inside: A huge library of skills, dozens of specialized subagents, and ready-made commands, all working together. Each piece does one job. One subagent reviews security against OWASP standards. One optimizes memory so Claude stops forgetting earlier decisions around hour three. One learns from your past sessions and projects so the setup gets smarter the more you use it. Others handle planning, test-driven development, and language-specific code review Instead of one assistant writing code, you get an orchestrated team. A main session delegates to the right specialist when the task calls for it, the way a real dev team splits work The best part: it's not locked to one tool. It runs in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and OpenCode, across Windows, Mac and Linux. Free, MIT licensed This is the difference between using Claude like a search box and running it like a team that ships. The guy spent 10 months figuring out what actually works so you don't have to Bookmark this
