Morocco 5v5 + 3 Possession & Counter Pressing Game 🇲🇦 Dimensions: 18(W) x 28(L) Yards In possession, the team must build into a clear shape: 3 central players 2 wide players on the flanks The aim is to keep the ball and complete a set number of passes while maintaining that structure to score points. There are also neutral goalkeepers on each end line and one neutral player inside the pitch to support the team in possession. When the ball is lost, the defending team can press anywhere. This encourages players to react immediately, win the ball back quickly, and counter press with intensity. Coaching focus: Structure in possession. Quick reaction after losing the ball. Aggressive pressing. Winning the ball back fast. Save this post and follow us to get more. #SoccerTraining #FootballDrills #CoachEducation

Roberto De Zerbi Positional Rondo working with Tottenham Hotspur yesterday morning Real purpose behind it from a game principles perspective! ⚽ 4v2 positional rondo variation ⚽ Tight 8x6 yard space to increase pressure ⚽ Players fixed in position to maintain structure ⚽ No freedom to drift The objective was centered around recognizing the moments in possession 💡 When to take touches 💡 When to play quickly 💡 When to invite pressure Key coaching detail QUOTE "The opposition decides the speed we play" What did he mean by that?? = 🔥 Aggressive press = Quick play with good support angles. 🔥 Passive press = More touches and composure on the ball to invite pressure and then break it. The practice design maintained intensity throughout 🔁 Pressing players rotated regularly ⏱️ Timed sets 🏆 Points awarded for pass targets 🏃‍♂️ Physical runs between sets Technical tactical and physical elements all combined within one simple rondo practice This is how possession principles are built into training 👉 Understanding pressure 👉 Controlling tempo 👉 Playing with intention A simple detail with a big impact on how the game is played under Roberto De Zerbi. #RobertoDeZerbi #SoccerCoaching #FootballCoaching #CoachingEducation #PositionalPlay
