We really don’t talk enough about how terrifying Darth Vader’s introduction was in the third episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Despite being one of the most iconic and intimidating villains in cinematic history, seeing Vader mercilessly take out someone without even igniting his lightsaber is easily one of the darkest moments I’ve ever seen in a Star Wars project. We’d never seen this character quite this angry before, and this scene is as chilling to watch as it is just outright horrifying.

Honestly was terrifying watching a rusty and unfocused Obi-Wan face off once again against Darth Vader, this time fueled even more by personal anger and an intense hatred. Genuinely still remains one of the scariest moments to happen in any Star Wars project.
