On undivided roads, maintaining space on the sides and front is very essential as swerving to the right can trigger a head-on crash ! The parked vehicle blocked the space and the biker did not maintain a safe following distance ! Instead of an abrupt stop,if we gradually slow down,we can eliminate rear end risks to some extent.

Always stay focused and maintain a safe distance on roads, as Indian roads can be unpredictable due to reckless drivers. Details shared by Amit Vishwakarma I was traveling from Bhopal to Pune with my family in a Kia Seltos. While driving on the Nashik highway, I encountered a situation where a car (an Ertiga) was parked in the high-speed lane. This car was in my blind spot due to a vehicle running ahead of me. I was traveling at around 95 km/h and, upon noticing the parked car, I managed to stop at a safe distance. However, a Ford EcoSport following me collided with my car from the rear, and the EcoSport was then hit by another car, an Ertiga. Fortunately, no one was injured, but all three cars were damaged, with the second Ertiga sustaining the most damage. The drivers of the cars behind me began scolding me for stopping on the highway, and a group of local villagers also gathered and became aggressive. Thankfully, my dashcam footage saved me. I showed them the video, which clearly captured the first Ertiga parked in the high-speed lane, causing the chain reaction. The owner of that Ertiga fled the scene after hearing the sounds of the collisions. Despite the damage, we three drivers handled the situation calmly, as everyone had insurance. I attempted to file a complaint against the driver of the parked Ertiga, but no police station helped me. They claimed that since he wasn’t directly involved in the accident, no complaint could be lodged. Here’s what happened when I tried to file a complaint: 1. I approached the Pune police station (as I’m from Pune and the parked Ertiga also had a Pune registration). They redirected me to a Nashik village police station. 2. The Nashik village police station redirected me to the Nashik city police station. 3. The Nashik city police station told me there was no law to register a complaint against the parked driver in this case. Using the car's number plate, I was able to get the owner's mobile number. Initially, he denied being there, but when I shared the dashcam video, he casually said, "Go ahead and complain; nothing will be done."

Got my first FSD strike 🇩🇰 BMW driver failed to yield - didn't even stop. I honked at him. He then went on to threaten me by tailgating me 3 ft away for the next minute straight. I was constantly checking my mirrors and rear camera on screen, which FSD didn't like. Got a strike notice when i parked the car.

From the bus,it could be TS or AP. Let's see this from a hazard perception point of view. There's a lot of time without any vehicle on the road and there are a lot of gaps too and the vehicles are not at great speed too and they could stop on time,if the biker suddenly turns across. Why did the biker pick up a time when there's a bus behind? Hat Tip : If you're driving a car and you see a stopped biker on the road shoulder, anticipate a move but don't be a victim. Dramatic dashcam footage shows a hit-and-run driver smashing into multiple parked cars in downtown Los Angeles late Tuesday night. The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. near 7th Street and South Hope Street outside the Sheraton Grand. Video captured by a Tesla shows a car heading south on Hope Street suddenly making a sharp left turn, crossing into oncoming traffic, and slamming into a line of parked vehicles. Three people sitting inside one of the parked cars were injured and taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to RMG News. A female passenger in the suspect’s vehicle was also hospitalized. Witnesses said the driver initially fled but later returned and was arrested. Authorities have not yet said what caused the crash or whether impairment played a role.

Why do people blame drivers who brake suddenly, when sometimes it’s necessary? In both the US and UK, emergency braking is part of the driving test. It’s the responsibility of the driver behind to maintain a safe following distance and avoid rear-end collisions. In the US, UK and the UAE, if you're rear-ended, the driver who hits from behind is typically considered at fault and will usually be penalized by the traffic police.
