The BMW M5 driver had turned off traction control and began drifting at high speed. During one such drift, he lost control of the vehicle, crashing into two parked cars and ramming into the pedestrian walking lane. After the crash, the driver fled the scene. The lorry driver, who has not been identified, was apparently trying to make a delivery, but appeared to become agitated over parking and began ramming the vehicles and pedestrians. He hit several parked cars. He then drove off, but not before colliding with three pedestrians, who suffered minor injuries. West Yorkshire Police in a statement, said: “Police were called to Handel Street Bradford at about 1.49pm today to a report a lorry and had collided with parked cars. “The lorry also collided with three pedestrians, causing them minor injuries, as it left the area. “Officers attended the scene and police enquiries are ongoing into the incident this evening by Bradford CID.” One witness to the incident, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "I was walking down the street when I saw this lorry reversing out of a parking space. The driver still has not been caught but the 16-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital and arrested. Police say the car was recently stolen.
