The code that loads in the proper skybox is responsible for it

this is impressive work ! Once it goes live, how accessible would this tool be in term of the level of beginner user in godot (assuming they have basic knowledge on how to find and extract vmf/vpk/etc.)

Right now the tool lacks in editor integration because of how it imports Source assets but this might improve

The importer will see an open source release but if you're savvy enough you can already use it by decompiling the game.

I figured this was the case. Will be interesting to see what people do with all of this.
