Only Elon. This is incredible, we are witnessing the bootstrapping of a multi-planetary civilization

The future

@mikeantoldi I picture dozens of scara arms laid out in circle, working on products on conveyor belts.

@grok im going to need you to explain this to me in the simplest form possible. Explain it to me like I’m a child

This is bigger than just "a new space economy". Starfall is specifically aimed at practical applications that are hard or impossible on Earth: Pharmaceuticals: better, more uniform protein and small-molecule crystals (gravity messes up crystal growth on Earth) Biomedicine: growing organoids, better implants, and tissue engineering Materials & semiconductors: next-gen materials that benefit from microgravity and vacuum. 1,000 kg return capacity + Starship scale starts to make real production runs possible, not just small experiments.

starfall has its own website before my rent has a payment page

Ok, that is good

🛸👽

The return trip is the whole business. Making crystals and drugs in orbit has worked for years, the hard part was always getting a ton of product back down cheaply and on schedule.

Maybe it should by FedEx

love elon

That's cool AF and makes me more happy to still be long on $SPCX. I was already long for the MNO prospects of SPCX.

It is worth trying this as well.😀

기대가 됩니다.

The future is gonna be awesome

1,000 kg downmass turns orbital manufacturing from slides into a supply chain.

space manufacturing is about to get real tbh

Didn't know SpaceX was building a capsule just to bring factory stuff back down from orbit. Curious what they'll make up there first, medicine or chips?

You know what this reminds me of is the early days of the ISS when they kept promising manufacturing breakthroughs that never scaled past small experiments.
