We spent 3 months looking for a home for Leo. There were so many offers and we did so many interviews. As we started to observe him though with us we changed our minds about him being able to travel… 😬 Leo absolutely hates being closed in any space like a kennel or play area. It started to drive him mad and he would play up big time ✈️ Travel in a crate to the vets was a nightmare never mind a long journey. He wouldn’t survive it such was his anxiety and trying to eat crates etc 🏝️ We noticed that Leo was only really happy when totally free. Without lead or play area or kennel. Hes an outside dog through and through. We needed to find Leo a very different type of place to live (4/8)

Alex de Minaur says he was playing out of his comfort zone and out of his skin against Carlos Alcaraz, ‘Jannik & Carlos have so many revolutions on the ball that they’re able to not only play at a higher speed, but also have that consistency’ “In terms of mentality or the way I committed to hitting the ball today, it’s what I set out to do.. I just can’t really execute it. I didn’t really execute it for the whole match. Overall I’m playing out of my comfort zone and at times out of my skin. In order for me to take that next step, I’ve got to be comfortable playing that sort of way for the whole match. You have to watch every play. Like there will be a X play run—I’ll watch every 20 yard gain—and it’s either a guy making a play or there’s a holding call that they miss. And that’s what it is. I think the easy thing is to say, ‘Well that’s a terrible play call or the guy should’ve done better.’ Fellas, we have to be able to get into a rhythm.” Really interesting to hear from Vrabel — we never really get to hear about the things he discusses with the team behind closed doors. Ferris State HC Tony Annese - Why Side-Car Alignment - Being in a consistent RB alignment stops teams from playing us multiple ways when we release their DE. It forces them to choose a single way to play us when we release the DE. - The ways in which DE's will play us (outside of normal reads are: 1. Wrong Arm 2. Squeeze and Chase 3. Play for Width 4. Mesh Charge - We want to be able to run any play at any time. - We can create the same mesh point on downhill runs without sacrificing our ability to run perimeter schemes. - Better position to get good play action and involve the RB in the pass game. - The last thing that prompted our move to being a sidecar team was to fit the skill set of our QB. He was more equipped to be a downhill power runner in the vein of Cam Newton rather than a shifty option QB. - Since the change we have developed one of the most effective QB run packages in the country.

If they gonna bring two to the ball, that's giving us an advantage. That's what you run pick and roll for is to get two to the ball to be able to hit someone to get an advantage. To answer your question, I think if he's open, every time, we have to hit him."
