Started working on the dynamic water simulation for my relaxing building game today. Obviously quite a lot of work left, but it’s already working with overhangs and everything. Looking forward to making waterfalls more than just lines and making it possible to build aqueducts!

Building something for the Counter-Strike / FPS lovers, but a little crazier. I’ve been working with Astra + Unity for some proper game dev, and man, it’s been such a different kind of fun. i think $AI has been the best play of my entire life. ever since i got into memecoins and started trading onchain, my life has improved significantly. i was already making a lot of money before, but now i'm making three times as much. i could retire at this point, but honestly, i love money more than anything. i think i'm genuinely addicted to the game.

In a world of crazy sport schedules, specialization and constant skill work, often times BASIC physical development is left to the wayside. When working with MS and HS kids, I do my best to work in things that don’t “look like s&c training” on purpose. It’s generally in our warm ups and on top of gaining mobility and working on skills, it’s fun. Yes lifting is important and vital. But so is basic level floor work and “gymnastics” work. Learning to fall, roll, cartwheels, move on the ground not only aid in mobility + reducing injuries but build a SOLID base of movement literacy. The younger we do these things and more often we do them the better. Remember… getting stronger is easier than getting more athletic.

The next version of Scattershot will have a method that works with true displacement! I got it working after messing with the Repeat Zone and Closures in 5.0, only to realize it was possible the whole time... though with a lot more work.

Turns out the "IDE but for notes and tasks" is also becoming my... IDE! More and more I just make notes and boards with specs of what needs to be built, connect a bunch of code agents to thymer all working in parallel, have them pick up open tasks, build it and update progress back in the notes.

Oh my god honestly I popped the fuck off with this one. It took so long to get the animation and simulation to work right so unless I end up with a bunch of time or money on my hands I dunno how many more I'll be making

one of the easiest ways to make your AI videos look 10x better is by just increasing the saturation a bit > left is the original output > right is saturation + contrast increased for some reason AI video models love making everything feel cold and blue, which makes the video look obviously AI very quickly a bit of saturation fixes a lot of that then pair it with Topaz and a bitrate cleaner and the video starts looking like it was shot on a real iphone cam obviously you still need a good system behind the actual video, but this takes a good generation to a completely different level

One of the happiest moments of my life occurred last night. The whole family was outside helping to pull garlic - softneck variety - first year we’ve ever planted one and it’s quite a bit more difficult to harvest than hardnecks. Everyone needs to head inside to bed, I’ve already accepted that I’ll be out and might see sunrise - I didn’t, but it could’ve been close. My son - despite being offered to go inside just persisted that he wanted to stay and work with me. He crushed it - helped me pull garlic, loaded the bucket of the tractor, directed me to stop, move forward, etc. My son really brought value via work effort and productivity. But more than that, he chose to stay with me and wanted to work. It was a quiet happiness and one I hope exists for the rest of our lives wherever he may go and however we may work together.
