Starting tomorrow, we await a ceasefire — this proposal is on the table. A full and unconditional ceasefire, one that lasts long enough to provide a necessary foundation for diplomacy, could significantly bring peace closer. Ukraine has long proposed this, our partners are proposing it, and the whole world...

You’re in no position to make any demands. You’re not even that important for Putin to meet you in person.

A just and lasting peace for Ukraine would require restoring territorial integrity, including Crimea and Donbas, credible security guarantees like a U.S.-backed European force, justice for war crimes, and economic recovery using frozen Russian assets. It would mean Ukraine regaining sovereignty, ensuring long-term security, and rebuilding a stable, democratic society...

ceasefire? more like a pause for moscovia to regroup and rearm. ukrainians know the game — they’ll wait for a break, then strike harder. peace without justice is just chaos in disguise.

I’m so glad this war is about to end. Billions of lives are about to be saved. This wouldn’t have happened without Europe. Europe deserves a lot of credit for this peace deal amid the absence of U.S. leadership. 🇪🇺🇺🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇺🇸🏳️‍🌈🇫🇲🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇸🇨🇩🇰🇦🇪🏳️‍⚧️

This is a fantastic first step for peace. Now that the minerals deal is signed, the US has a vested interest in maintaining the sovereignty of Ukraine. Russia and Putin need to be on notice that they’re facing an uphill battle.

Right now, we have all heard from Russia Putin’s highly predictable and manipulative words in response to the idea of a ceasefire on the front lines—at this moment he is, in fact, preparing to reject it. Of course, Putin is afraid to tell President Trump directly that he wants to continue this war and keep killing Ukrainians. That’s why, in Moscow, they are surrounding the ceasefire idea with such preconditions that it either fails or gets dragged out for as long as possible. Putin does this often—he doesn’t say ‘no’ outright, but he drags things out and makes reasonable solutions impossible. We see this as yet another round of Russian manipulation. There was a U.S. proposal for an unconditional ceasefire—in the air, at sea, and on the front lines. We in Ukraine accepted this proposal. We have heard from the American side that there is readiness to organize monitoring and verification. And this is absolutely feasible—with American and European capabilities. And during the ceasefire, to prepare answers to all questions about long-term security and a real, lasting peace, and to put a plan to end the war on the table. Ukraine is ready to work as quickly and constructively as possible. We have discussed this with U.S. representatives, and our European partners, as well as all our allies worldwide, are aware of it. We are not setting conditions that complicate the process—Russia is. As we have always said, the only one stalling, the only one being unconstructive, is Russia. They need this war. Putin has stolen years of peace and continues this war day after day. Now is the time to increase pressure on him. Sanctions must be applied—ones that will work. We will continue working with our American and European partners and with everyone in the world who wants peace—to force Russia to end this war.

The answer to the Ukrainian territorial issue is already in the Constitution of Ukraine, no one will and cannot deviate from this - Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський address Dear Ukrainians! President Trump announced the preparation of his meeting with Putin in Alaska. Very far from this war that is going on on our land, against our people and which still cannot be ended without us, without Ukraine. Putin did not believe in our people and therefore made this hopeless decision of his to try to take Ukraine. This was his main mistake - to ignore the Ukrainians. I believe in our people. Ukrainians are strong. Ukrainians are defending their own. Many in the world sided with Ukraine during the war. Even those who are with Russia know that it is doing evil. Of course, we will not give Russia awards for what it has done. The Ukrainian people deserve peace. But all partners must understand what a dignified peace is. This war must be ended, and Russia must end it. Russia started it and is dragging it out, not listening to any deadlines, and this is the problem, not something else. The answer to the Ukrainian territorial issue is already in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one will and cannot back down from this. Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier. Ukraine is ready for real solutions that can bring peace. Any solutions that are against us, any solutions that are without Ukraine, are simultaneously solutions against peace. They will not bring anything. These are dead solutions. They will never work. And we all need a real, living peace that people will respect. We are ready, together with President Trump, together with all our partners, to work for a real and, most importantly, lasting peace - a peace that will not collapse because of Moscow's wishes. I thank all our people for being together. Ukraine exists. Thank you to all our soldiers for preserving our independence. Stand strong. This is our land, we are Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine! President Donald J. Trump Keir Starmer Emmanuel Macron Giorgia Meloni Alexander Stubb Friedrich Merz
