Sofia Samodelkina is special, and at only age 19 she has a long career ahead. This is her HIGHEST scored Free Skate EVER (3 Quads). STING interceptor drones alone shot down more than 300 aerial targets during yesterday and the past night. And this accounts only interceptions known so far, with one crew alone credited with 120 targets. Between 8 AM yesterday and 8 AM today, Russia launched around 1,428 drones against Ukraine over a 24-hour period. This marks the largest drone attack of the war so far.

COACHES: Here is a GREAT teaching clip of something I see in youth hockey all the time. A player will skate the puck towards one of their teammates and will then pass it to them. It's one of my biggest pet peeves in the game. When you skate the puck towards your teammate, you're effectively bringing defenders towards them too so when you give them the puck you've put them in a difficult spot because now with more defenders near they have less time and space to make a play. This clip is a great example. The CHI defenseman skates the puck toward his partner and then tries to give him a pass. They turn the puck over with two CAR forecheckers now right there and the puck ends up in the back of the net. In youth hockey you see defenseman do this a lot and even more so they'll skate it towards their winger and then give them the puck either on the breakout or in the neutral zone. A better solution would be to move it right away or suck defenders towards you (and away from) your teammate so when you pass to them they'll have more time and space. Phenomenal teaching clip on time and space!!

Walking down memory lane with Chamboi the orphaned rhino. 🦏 Three years ago today, this critically endangered black rhino calf arrived at Kaluku after being abandoned as a newborn. Day by day, step by step, the tiny chap has blossomed into a very impressive adolescent. We’ve already walked a long way with Chamboi, but there is still much to come. When grown, he will return to the Tsavo ecosystem, where he will help Kenya’s black rhino population continue to grow. Adopt Chamboi and support his journey back to the wild:

RJ Scaringe, you’ve built such a beautiful (and smart!) brand and product…and have clearly created a team culture that’s special. Newstalk ZB, said Chris, were the only people still concerned with this. This remark earnt him the ire of presenter Heather Du Plessis-Allan. She said Hipkins's words implied the broadcaster was conducting an ideological campaign against Labour. A suggestion she angrily rejected. Heather wants you to tell Mr Hipkins that she is not the only one who is still angry about the lock downs. So if you see him around, feel free to do that.
