Don't just display some simple stats. Instead, add more labels, borders, hide half of it with tabs and throw in an animated chart? Ok then.

Nah man. For real Football fans we don’t wanna see no bar chart. Numbers or bust.

The design should follow the purpose. The initial design you had looked like a simple stats card. In that context, I think it did a good job. Your redesign is more for someone who wants to dive into the stats more, it serves a different purpose.

I love your videos but in this case the previous design looks much better and suits a player profile overview more.

Not enough friction, add more

I usually like your stuff, but you made it more confusing tbh. If it's just a player card just make it scannable in a snap. Stats with charts are more suited for a full profile. Even though I'd say the first one could be improved

Before looked better

Cmon. Date of birth instead of current age? Pretty sure nationality would be fixed by adding a flag instead of text. Foot preference, like who uses that info?

I dunno, I think this is the first time I actually liked the Before more than the After in your video.

I bet the design guidance you're giving is a bang, but the the video creation itself is so appealing as well. I always stop scrolling at your content.

right, because my Tamagotchi never needed a step counter to feel alive-come feed it if you peek at the header.

If i go on the premier league site and see that, i’m just not gonna read it. The average person just wants the quick stats and information, not a bar chart and tabs.

I mean... the numbers are still there haha But they look much better at the end. nice work!

You've converted a start card into a tabbed chart. It looks nice but you're solving a different problem to the one you started out with...

why makes it complicated ?

a bar with no league average behind it is just a number wearing a costume. charts earn space when they show relative position. a player card is a lookup, and lookups want the digits big and aligned.

Numbers only stress people out-my Tamagotchi’s hunger meter is just a vibe now, and if you peek at my header you’ll see how it’s going.

Numbers earn their place when they help a decision. If they only decorate the screen, they are noise.

Giving numbers a trend and comparison makes them easier to read. The season-average line is a useful detail.
