STOP UPGRADING YOUR MAC MINI, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG Apple has been robbing us blind on storage upgrades for a decade, forcing people to throw away perfectly good computers. But if you have an M1 or M2 Mac Mini, this one insane vertical dock completely breaks the matrix....

Don't Buy a Mac Mini for Clawdbot: The Secret $10,000 Architecture That Costs You Nothing clawdbot might be the reason you feel like you need a ten thousand dollar computer right now but i am about to show you why that fomo is going to leave you broke. if you have been watching everyone rush out to buy mac minis and mac studios just to run open claw or some local models you are witnessing a massive transfer of wealth from your pocket to apple for no reason. there is a specific setup i use that costs almost nothing and keeps my main machine safe from whatever these autonomous agents are doing. if you stick with me i will walk you through the exact architecture of a professional trading system that handles the heavy lifting without you needing to drop a single rack on hardware most people are scared of running these bots on their main computer because they don't want an agent messing with their personal files or browser sessions. instead of buying a second mac mini for six hundred dollars you can just go to the top left of your screen and create a brand new user profile. this acts like a completely isolated sandbox where you can install all your trading tools and agents without them ever seeing your main data. it is essentially like getting a free computer for the price of five minutes of clicking around your settings but what if you aren't on a mac or you need to access your system while you are traveling without carrying three laptops in your backpack. this is where the first loop of professional automation starts to close because i use something called chrome remote desktop to bridge the gap. this allows me to leave a dedicated machine running in a safe place while i access the full desktop environment from a tablet or a cheap laptop anywhere in the world. it solves the mobility issue but it still doesn't solve the problem of those massive ten thousand dollar price tags for high end mac pros if you are a pc user or just someone who doesn't want to own physical hardware yet you should look into a windows vps through a provider like contabo. most developers will tell you to use a linux terminal but if you aren't a coder yet you need a visual interface you can actually see. getting a windows server allows you to log in and see a desktop just like your home computer for about fifteen dollars a month. i usually recommend at least twelve gigabytes of ram to keep things from getting janky when you are running multiple browser windows and agents at once now you might be thinking that the whole point of the big hardware was to run local models like kimi or glm to save on api costs. i spent years thinking i had to own the machines myself and i even spent hundreds of thousands on developers before i realized i could just do this myself. the secret to running those massive open source models without the ten thousand dollar investment is renting gpu power by the hour. sites like lambda labs let you spin up a monster machine that can run any model in existence for just a couple dollars an hour this is the ultimate pivot because it allows you to test if your strategy actually prints money before you commit to the hardware. you can turn the server on when you are iterating and turn it off the second you are done which keeps your overhead near zero. if you haven't proven that your bot can pay for itself yet then buying a mac studio is just an expensive hobby rather than a business move. there is a much bigger loophole involving the anthropic subscriptions that most people are completely overlooking right now right now i am using a specific plan with claude code that costs about two hundred dollars a month but it lets me run open claw all day without hitting api limits. if i were paying for those same tokens through the standard api i would probably be spending hundreds of dollars every single day. it is a massive cost savings that allows you to iterate and fail until you find a winning strategy without draining your bank account. even if they eventually close this loophole or snitch on the usage patterns it serves as the perfect training ground for a data dog the goal is to find a system that works with a smaller or cheaper model like haiku before you ever try to scale up to the heavy weights. if you can make a strategy profitable using a less intelligent and cheaper model then you know you have found real alpha. once you have that foundation you can decide if it finally makes sense to build your own custom pc rig which will always be half the price of an apple machine. i am an apple guy so i usually pay the tax anyway but i only do it once the system is already generating enough to cover the cost ten times over i believe that code is the great equalizer because it took me from losing money and getting liquidated to having fully automated systems doing the work for me. i had to learn to live with the iterations and the failures on youtube to get to this point of clarity. the universe tends to get out of your way once you make a non negotiable contract with yourself to see the process through to the end. you don't need the flashy hardware or the most expensive setup to start winning in this game stay focused on the logic and the data rather than the hype and the fomo that everyone else is falling for. if you can master the bridge between renting power and owning your logic you will be ahead of ninety nine percent of the people in this space. the path to a fully automated life isn't paved with expensive gadgets but with the discipline to iterate until the system finally prints

One guy keeps a farm of Mac minis on his desk and says each $600 box brings him $2,000 a month while he sleeps. AND THE HARDWARE ACTUALLY WORKS. But the number is not even the interesting part. The broken part is HOW: his AI no longer sits in a chat window. It sees the screen, moves the mouse itself, types and clicks the interface like a human at a computer. That is it. While most people still run AI in a chat and ask it for text, he sat Claude down right at the computer and put it to work with its hands. He automated not a single task but the workplace itself. How it actually works: on every Mac mini Claude runs with computer use turned on and the official Claude API docs spell it out: screenshot capture, mouse control, keyboard input, desktop automation. The agent opens the browser and the apps itself and runs the boring routine on a schedule: pulls leads, fills the CRM, checks orders, runs QA on the site. One box, one quiet worker that does not sleep and does not ask for a salary. His math is simple: a Mac mini is $600 once, Claude Max is $200 a month, and a live white-collar worker on the same routine costs a business $4,000 and up. So he rents out each node to a client as an AI worker for about $2,000 and 6 Mac minis come out to around $12,000 a month with costs a bit over $1,000 on subscriptions. But the $12,000 is his projection not a revenue dashboard: the video has no client, no task log, no working automation at all. The real asset here is not the stack of hardware but the one repeatable process the agent actually closes. Because a Mac mini on its own earns nothing. The money shows up exactly where the boring browser routine used to be done by hand for a salary and now you can hand it to an agent for the price of a subscription. Computer use is still in beta, almost nobody builds a service on it and the demand for cheap GUI routine is huge. The window is open for literally the next few months. Most people will watch this, laugh at the "$600 AI worker" and close it. And the ones who actually put an agent on one boring task and grind it into a repeat will ride this wave while it is still empty. Would you sit an AI right at your own computer on the boring routine or are you still clicking through it by hand?

🚨PERPLEXITY JUST LAUNCHED SOMETHING THAT MAKES EVERY OTHER AI PRODUCT LOOK LIKE A TOY.. AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT.. They built a Personal Computer.. Not an app.. Not a chatbot.. A full digital worker that runs 24/7 on a Mac mini even while you sleep.. You press both command keys.. And it wakes up.. Ready to work.. But here's where it gets insane.. This thing doesn't run on one AI model.. It runs on 19 of them.. At the same time.. It uses Claude Opus for complex reasoning.. Gemini 3.1 Pro for deep research with a 2 million token context window.. Nano Banana Pro for 4K images.. Grok for fast tasks.. It doesn't just pick one model and hope for the best.. It reads your task.. Breaks it into subtasks.. And routes each one to whichever model is best at that specific thing.. All running in parallel.. While ChatGPT is still thinking about your first question.. Perplexity has already split your project into 6 pieces and assigned each one to a different AI.. And here's the part that should worry OpenAI.. Perplexity hallucinates at 3.3%.. ChatGPT hallucinates at 12%.. Claude at 15%.. It's not even close.. Because Perplexity is built differently.. Every other AI tries to remember facts.. Perplexity searches for them first.. It's structurally forced to cite live sources before it's even allowed to generate a response.. OpenAI Operator launched with a 32.6% success rate on computer-use tasks.. People called it "the world's most anxious intern" because it pauses every 5 seconds to ask if it's doing the right thing.. Perplexity runs multi-hour and multi-day workflows independently.. Only interrupts you when it hits a decision that actually matters.. You can start a task from your iPhone on the train.. And it executes on your Mac mini at home.. The economics are wild too.. Internal studies show it saved teams an average of $1.6 million in labor costs.. Performing 3.25 years of work in four weeks.. And unlike every other AI company.. Perplexity dropped ads entirely.. They charge $200 a month because they said they're in the "accuracy business".. Not the advertising business.. They even launched a $42.5 million publisher program to pay media partners when their content gets cited.. While OpenAI is getting sued by every newspaper on earth.. Google and OpenAI want you locked into their ecosystem.. If a better model comes out tomorrow you're stuck.. Perplexity just updates its routing matrix.. You get the best model on earth automatically.. No switching.. No migrations.. No friction.. This isn't an AI assistant anymore.. This is the first real AI employee.. And it costs $200 a month.

Former #Patriots RB Damien Harris says Bill Belichick being “stuck in his ways” caused Mac Jones to fail in New England. “What happened to Mac Jones in New England, was not because of Mac Jones… (it) was because of the fact you took away an offensive coordinator who coached him to be a Pro-Bowler and almost coached us to winning our division. With a rookie quarterback… then you take Matt Patricia who’s coached defense his entire life. Joe Judge who’s been a special teams coach… and then you just throw them in there and say, ‘Hey, coach this kid up. He’s a first round pick, but as long as you teach him what I say, everything gonna be fine.’ S**t wasn’t fine. Now Mac Jones is in Jacksonville… the breath of Mac Jones in New England — it came and went. It shouldn’t have (gone) the way that it went. The only reason that it did was because Bill Belichick, being stuck in his ways, was very much so ‘As long as I am here. As long as I am, along with Robert Kraft, the top dog at this organization… we will have success.’ I think that started kinda was this Cam Newton situation… everybody was like, ‘What the f**ck is this? Why Cam Newton?’ Bill thought that he could make it work. It didn’t really work. Then we drafted Mac. We had a hell of a year… went on to win seven straight. At that time we were kinda looking at ourselves like we might have a Super Bowl run here… then the next year after that you replace… Josh McDaniels with Matt Patricia and Joe Judge and then look at the year we had that year… now Mac Jones is all of a sudden gone. I think that everybody can look at what I just said. And ultimately, just watch it for what it was and kinda say that maybe Bill Belichick did not do right by Mac Jones.” Wow. Here is how you can install an open-source, enterprise-grade RAG system on your server (with the best document understanding I've seen.) First, something obvious to anyone trying to sell RAG in the market: You are crazy if you think companies will let their data travel to a hosted model. No one wants to send their data anywhere (those who do haven't found an alternative.) Every single company would rather have an air-gapped system with no internet access. GroundX is an open-source RAG system that you can run on your servers (or any cloud provider, as long as you have access to GPUs) and works without a network. (If the military wants to do RAG, this is precisely what they will be looking for.) I installed GroundX on my AWS account and recorded a video to show you how to use it. There are two services you can use: 1. Ingest: This service uses a pretrained vision model to ingest and understand your knowledge base. 2. Search: This service combines text and vector search with a fine-tuned re-ranker model to retrieve information from your knowledge base. A quick note about the Ingest service: 99% of people think they need better "retrieval" mechanisms. I think they need better "ingestion." That's where this service comes in! Ingest "understands" your documents in a way I haven't seen before. After you try it, you'll realize why showing your LLM your raw documents is a bad idea. In the video, I use a free tool called X-Ray to test a document and understand how the Ingest service breaks it down. You can access this tool by signing up for a free GroundX cloud account and uploading your documents. You'll see a bit more about this in the video.
