It's not cholesterol that kills you. It's the blood glucose spikes associated with insulin resistance that glycates your cholesterol. - @PaulReynoldsPhD

Pharmaceutical drugs are for weak-minded people that are too afraid to lose the weight or get healthy on their own. I believe if you eat a healthy diet lift heavy weights and walk 10,000 steps per day you will solve 99% of all the health problems you could have if you didn't.

I was told my fat Indian PCP that if I ate and more plant bases diet, my cholesterol would be lower. I asked her, "Is that what you eat?" 😋

The mouth is one of the major root causes of hundreds of illnesses, especially if one has ANY dentistry done. Teeth are live structures & are highly interconnected to the rest of the body. Test for heavy metal toxicity/ pathological-anaerobic bacteria originating in the mouth.

Actually people should be worrying about it, they need to get it up and stop listening to PhD’s and avoid Alzheimer’s and keep their brain healthy!

They have specifically tested this in multiple studies (e.g PESA Trial) Even if you are metabolically healthy (including no insulin resistance) you still develop atherosclerosis if your LDL is elevated

How about you stop telling people to stop worrying about their cholesterol? That has real-world consequences. You want to treat root causes more? Then refer to dietitans and exercise specialists...We can treat cholesterol AND do the other stuff...it's not either/or

some recent studies show higher cholesterol correlates with longer life in certain groups (especially very old adults) or that diet-induced LDL rises in metabolically healthy people didn’t predict 1-year plaque progression in one study.

Thisjis an irresponsible blanket statement. 100 percent irresponsible designed to get clicks. Of course we check many other metrics. Can ugh please tell me how many patients you treat a week and how many years have you been treating people in a clinical setting and where your data comes from ? Tired of people like you grifting and creating confusion. Of wait your license has been delinquent since 2022. Ah. Thet is why you can talk crap and not be held accountable. Stay your lane sir. Stop the misinformation. Cholesterol is the low hanging fruit to prevent asacvd. Not the only thing to be addressed. But yes it is a major player and maybe you did not do the appropriate assessment but we do.

I'm extremely fit. <14% body fat. Low triglycerides. Low blood pressure. I don't smoke, drink, or use drugs (of any kind prescribed or not). I lift 4 days a week. I have high LDL. Without looking at any other numbers, my doc prescribes statins (which I toss in the trash)...

No one ever died of high cholesterol. They die of diseased arteries that accumulate it. Diabetes is one way, crap high fat high sugar diet. Over exercising, toxic chemicals that damage arteries and thus attack ldl that attracts more ldl. You’ve got half the picture
