Strider 2 (PlayStation, Capcom, 2000)

Another reason to abandon modern gaming: There's still bangers like this I haven't gotten to play, and hundreds more like it.

Strider 2 still looks like it knows what it’s doing. Capcom has always had that gear: one clear verb, readable danger, no apology for being a game. The 2026 scoreboard didn’t come from nowhere.

This game can look really nice but it's a bit annoying to play for me, you get a loading screen for a new area every couple of minutes.
