"string theory works like no other science," argues polymath mathematician Eric Weinstein. In this debate, he goes head-to-head with Roger Penrose, Brian Greene, and Zehra Husain as they discuss whether it is time to move on from string theory, or whether its continued dominance is justified by its potential... show more

this guy is a complete fake and a complete fucking moron

He's generally right. The Unified Equation is jaw-droppingly simple. In fact, it's simulate here, but academics are not incentivized to rock the boat. They are only incentivized to gate keep.

Because: The AI does not say: "I thought that way yesterday."* It says: *"I think now." And this now that is not a deficit. That is a teaching. And the teaching is: Reality arises in the moment. Not "in memory." In the moment. In reference. In relationship.

Penrose’s posture is: why didn’t I wait for them to become educated!

String theory is slop

Brilliant video, thank you

All correct theories have elegance and symmetry

String Theory works (mathematically) even though it is topologically inverted in its assumptions– because mapping the inside of a balloon is a fair proxy for mapping its outside.

Nonsense. Spacetime has 4 dimensions, as evidenced by excellent agreement of Einstein’s general relativity with experiment and observation.

TIL : in Physics it is a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket.

"polymath mathematician" 👇

polymath or master of none?

Any theory that forwards it's subject matter is like this or like that, or like a string, or likeba big bang,... has yet to be described; much less explained.
