Students are objecting to a last-minute decision to hold exams in person after a semester of remote learning necessitated by January's protests and the war, arguing the switch is both inconsistent and unfair given the financial and logistical burden it places on graduate students who have already returned home.

This is how the state and its authorities discriminate , profile, arrest and torture Baloch students who have come to study. Through an equity lens, this use allows students to receive valuable assistance, who may otherwise not have support at home. Similar protests have taken place in multiple major cities around the world. From 16th July until today, 168 people have lost their lives. Among the dead are mostly university students, who were shot by members of the Bangladesh police and RAB, while some were hacked to death by ruling party student wing members.
