Sign the petition asking the Welsh Senedd to debate this move to destroy youth music and drama services in south Wales.

Ok, I’m on my knees with exhaustion already, but this has brought me to tears alongside the rest... The Arts are literally being demolished across the UK and no one seems to care. What of our children? And their children? What are we leaving them…? 😢

I know... it's tragic. And I had my 1yo daughter on my shoulders while I filmed this. I thought my kids might go there one day on a Saturday but it doesnt look likely 😔

Why are Labour not being held more to account for the way they cut arts institutions across Wales suddenly? When the Tories do it to English ones it is all over the news for weeks. Labour then criticise the cuts. So lets ask them about their own cuts! Wales deserves better.

Such a shame that @RWCMD have not organised themselves to keep the junior department open. I don’t understand why they are not fighting harder. The impact on the students, and the future of music making in Wales, is hard to quantify.

What a sound! And this isn’t London where there is a choice of junior conservatoires … it’s the only one in the whole of Wales. Surely it can be saved?

Beautiful playing. Petition signed

I wonder what Anthony Hopkins thinks of all this. He’s a graduate of RWCMD and still its Vice President, I think. He could help

I have been trying to find a way to contact him.

so sad
