Students that started grade nine last September would be able to graduate without the threat of strikes. This is what all students deserve. To the other teacher unions, let's get this done. Let's keep kids in class.

It’s not a done deal you know that right? OSSTF membership have to back this proposal and therefore strikes are not off the table! It would be nice if you stopped lying to the parents and students of Ontario once in a while! This is NOT a done deal!

Minister. How are kids supposed to stay in class when they're home sick every other week? Schools are not set up for this era. Your motto needs to be " let's clean the air, LETS KEEP KIDS IN CLASS"

Classes so big, that students are left without chairs to sit on. TDSB Trustees capped Grade 4-8 class sizes to avoid this – but the Ford Conservatives’ appointed supervisor scrapped the cap. Ultra-large class sizes are coming this September, and our kids are paying the price. This is not what public education in Ontario should look like today. Those in Grade 7 to 12 won't be able to use their devices during class time. We had a chance to speak with Ontario's Minister of Education Stephen Lecce, about the new policy and what students, parents and teachers can expect going forward.

This teacher says to his students that he will never remember what grade you got when you leave his class. But, he said he will remember the kindness that certain students showed to other students. He gives two examples of children that were alone or loners and two students taking the time to go out of their way to sit & talk with them to help make them feel like they weren't alone. I wish all teachers cared this much. Our system gets so caught up in the smartest students, the best athletes, the most popular kids and they seem to garner the most attention and favoritism. It's the quiet students, the loners, the awkward ones, the ones who don’t have friends that need attention and help in my opinion. Well done sir. Bravo. 👏 I wish more teachers had your mindset. There is hope yet for our educational system.

UNBELIEVABLE - OUR YOUNG CANNOT READ CURSIVE - Really - This is almost unbelievable. BUT - Then they may not be able to read type written words either - We keep reading articles that say students can't read - How do they expect to succeed in life? What has the Teacher's unions and "woke" teachers done to our children - They have concentrated on things that only cause our children to have a need to protest and other things that make no difference in this world. It's true - too many times students can't read or write when they graduate high school - First of all - I want to know how they graduated and have learned nothing about anything that will help them succeed in life.

Does not get more bold than this Karen to do this right in front of the camera. The you can see in her eyes how unhinged she is while she thinks she is justified in her actions. As always believes that her feelings get to dictate what the laws are. Of course she claims she is a teacher. No surprise this is what would be educating the students in Maryland. I do apologize that I am not able to find any records on restitution of the damaged property.

When we had our son and adopted our daughter, I couldn't wait to send them to Minnesota public schools. Now, 50% of Minnesota students can't read at grade level. 50% can't do math at grade level. This is unacceptable. This is criminal. Minnesota schools used to be a model for the country. Our kids deserve that again.
