Too many universities are selling immigration, not education. Last year, about 250,000 foreign students took up taxpayer-funded student loans to pay for their courses in the UK, worth £4bn. This is not fair. A Reform UK government will make sure that the British taxpayer is not paying for foreign students. Let’s put British students first.

NAVY BOAT RESCUES STUDENTS 14 students have been lucky to be Rescued by a Nigerian Navy Victory boat along the Calabar/Oron waterways. 3 of the students are still yet to be seen. Investigation reveals that the students are medical students who visited Calabar for the annual medical students association NIMSA health week and a group of the visiting students embarked on a boat ride via the Calabar Marina Resort, unfortunately, the boat capsized fortunate for those rescued, the Nigerian Navy Victory boat was close by and frantic efforts made to rescue them while as at the time of information, three of the students are still not seen.

Now I’ve seen it all The Wall Street Journal is actually reporting that Donald Trump taking away loan funding for college majors that don’t financially benefit students is “a good thing” Even calling them “clown colleges” “College programs that don't leave graduates financially better off will soon be ineligible for federal student loan funding. Here's why that's a good thing.” They explain how predatory colleges have become and how by taking away the funding for these programs it’ll force schools to lower their prices and make college cheaper “When the government stops providing taxpayer-funded loans to these programs, it keeps students from making a bad investment, and it incentivizes colleges to either lower prices or reform these programs to make them better. The government shouldn't fund college programs that leave students worse off” “The point of a federal student loan program should be to help students access a quality education, not give money to literal clown colleges.” Honest reporting from the Wall Street Journal… who knew that was even possible There was a study done on colleges and colleges who had students with access to federal student loans and Pell grants had 78% higher prices than other schools that didn’t have those students So this means colleges are skyrocketing prices because federal loans will be given out to cover the costs. President William Samoei Ruto, PhD has instructed universities to issue new admission letters that clearly indicate the amount of fees each parent will be required to pay. Parents will not pay the full cost of the university programmes because the Government will provide upto 95 percent support to each student. The New Funding Model for universities has made higher education more accessible and affordable for all students. The government offers scholarships and loans tailored to meet the varying needs of students: - Students from vulnerable families are placed in Band 1 and receive 95% government support. - Students in Band 2 receive 90% support. - Students in Band 3 receive 80% support. - Students in Band 4 receive 70% support. - Students in Band 5 receive 60% support. As promised by the President, No one is left behind!
