Anxiety goes down because they aren't hiding what is in their head, but it does not address the comorbidities that got them there in the first place, and if addressed, would likely remove the need to be transgender. Studies are done by biased organization with agendas

It actually increases the chances of all of the above, and if any of that doesn’t kill you, the nihilism of what you’ve done to own self will sink in and can lead to other dangerous behaviors toward others

As long as the subterfuge continues, maybe. Because they have no sense of what it actually feels like to be the opposite sex except seeing themselves through the eyes of others. Hence the intense necessity to adhere to gender stereotypes of presentation.
