Bengaluru The proposed #BidadiTownship project has become the latest flashpoint in #Karnataka politics, with the #BJP and #JDS joining hands to stage protests against the government’s plan. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, however, has mounted a strong defense of the initiative, insisting that his administration’s compensation package for landowners is far more generous than what was offered earlier.#DKShivakumar contrasted his government’s approach with that of the previous administration. “The previous government had fixed a price of only ₹25 lakh per acre. Wyatt Fain and Payden Crosper, both in their 30s, were both found guilty of one count of injury and depredation of government property.
