Now it’s sorting large, flexible center-console panels and folding totes — both at 90%. The bigger step isn’t the numbers. When Ghostty detects a password input prompt, it now changes the cursor to a lock and on macOS enables the secure input API. When the secure input API is enabled, we show a neat, animated icon that explains what's going on when clicked. Another example of native UI wins (imo). Secure Input is the macOS system API that prevents accessibility APIs from reading your keystrokes, so things like screen recording software and so on can't read your passwords. Other terminals on macOS support secure input. I think only iTerm also supports secure input on password detection. So as a disclaimer, I'm not trying to claim this as a huge innovation, I just think our implementation is nice. 😊

You pretrained a robot policy on millions of camera frames. Now you want to add a force sensor. Do you really have to retrain on everything from scratch? MuSe adds a force-torque sensor to a frozen vision-only policy using a tiny amount of contact data. - lifts contact-rich task success (peg insertion 60% to 87%, vase wiping 33% to 77%) - fuse the new sensor both early (shared token space) and late (cross-attention), train the policy as a world model that predicts future video, future force, and actions together, and replay old vision-only data with the force input masked to prevent forgetting. - adding new sensor modalities to pre-trained World Model can be cheap & improve performance significantly

hi all, excited to join! i'm building an expressive mini "shoggoth" robot which will eventually be hooked up to gpt4o realtime voice. i'm currently working on the low-level policies, which are trained in a mujoco simulation with RL. to delay working on raw-pixels for now, i trained a pose-estimation model using deeplabcut and triangulate the position in 3d space using the stereo cameras. eventually, i'll use gpt4o's tool calling capabilities to activate several of these policies (closed and open loop) based on the dialog flow! captions: manual actuation of the tentacle / 3d pose estimation / target design

Also, the string in the back isn’t even holding Tesla Bot up! This level of dynamic balance and control is EXTREMELY difficult to achieve for a humanoid robot. What Tesla is doing right now with Optimus is years ahead of what people realize.
