Here's a look behind the scenes of how I used a 3d model, generated from an image, as a "driver" for ai animation. In the near future we'll see more 3d tools that support these types of workflows, with much more emphasis on enhancing user input instead of just letting the ai do everything. I used the 3d model to generate keyframes that I then animated in Luma Dream. By using a 3d model with a diffusion "layer" done with Krea, I got quite high quality frames with a relatively high consistency as well since the AI didn't have to "hallucinate" that much. I upscaled and detailed the frames using Magnific. Using semi-detailed 3d models as drivers for gen ai is very powerful, and it allows us to use models that are sculpted in a more free-flowing type of workflow that doesn't rely so much on high surface detailing or very time-consuming finish, but instead relies more on gestural 3d sculpting. #art #ai

The detail level in the final version almost make me question our reality.. almost😅 Speaking of that, this actually reminds me of the feeling I had after walking out of the cinema from having watched the first Matrix movie. The sketch was made using Leonardo AI's new live painting tool that transform my sketch in realtime as I'm drawing. Software may be starting to show early signs of life but I still think the “hard” side of AI has the cleaner lane for 2026 and probably most of 2027. We're nowhere close to done with the physical AI buildout since compute demand is still ahead of supply, power is becoming the bottleneck and every layer of AI infrastructure still needs more capacity. I own some software names but I still see this as more of an oversold bounce than a true leadership rotation away from the companies building the AI infrastructure layer. Software probably becomes a cleaner leadership group once inference costs fall, enterprise AI budgets expand and AI features start flowing through margins but that still feels more like a 2027 story to me.

Then, using Lumas webviewer, I feed a screencapture of the model into Krea ai which details the model based on another prompt. Finally, Magnific AI is used to add the final finish. I Made a Game for my daughter based off of her favorite Teddy Bear and her as the main character. Took me about 30 minutes using Codex from OpenAI along with GPT Images 2.0. The Music is AI, the graphics AI and the entire code is AI. I have 0 coding experience other than HTML. The character looks just like her and the teddy bear is nearly exact to the picture I provided.
