⚡ Rebuilt on WebGPU Projection, culling, sorting and draw submission run on the GPU every frame, and splat data lives in chunked GPU storage. On a 4.4M-splat scene, idle memory dropped from 1,557 MB to 105 MB. Rendering a 1080p video: 1,673 MB → 142 MB.

🎲 Stochastic Alpha Sorting tens of millions of Gaussians is expensive. The new Stochastic Alpha mode skips the sort while you move, so heavy scenes stay fluid, then draws the exact sorted frame when you stop.

🖌️ Sphere Brush Paint selections directly onto surfaces in 3D. Every point of the stroke is depth-picked, so the brush follows the surface instead of selecting through the scene. You get the object you painted, not everything behind it.

🎨 Color adjustments on selections The Colors panel has moved to the left and its edits now apply to your selection, not just the whole scene. Tint, temperature, saturation, brightness, black point, white point and transparency, previewed live, then Apply to bake it in.

👁️ Appearance panel How Gaussians, centers and rings are drawn, plus tints and selection outlines, all in one place on the right toolbar. Overlays are now off by default; hit Tab to toggle them. Viewport toggles moved to a new Overlays popup (eye icon).

3.0 requires WebGPU: current Chrome and Edge, Safari 26+ and Firefox with WebGPU enabled. The 2.x editor lives on in the v2 branch. Full story on the blog → Release notes →
