New skill: /improve-animations Inspired by shadcn’s improve skill I made one specifically for animations. Use your most capable model to audit animations in your project and hand the execution to cheaper models. Fable is available through July 12, so make good use out of it!

This is seriously impressive. This video is a compilation of the best 2D animations created by Chinese artists using Seedance 2.0, which is currently released only in China. The fluid motion, visual consistency, and tight sync between visual and sound effects really stand out. The quality level of these sequences clearly shows where animation is heading. We are entering a new phase of 2D animation.

Ollama 0.2 is here! Concurrency is now enabled by default. This unlocks 2 major features: Parallel requests Ollama can now serve multiple requests at the same time, using only a little bit of additional memory for each request. This enables use cases such as: - Handling multiple chat sessions at the same time - Hosting code completion LLMs for your team - Processing different parts of a document simultaneously - Running multiple agents at the same time Run multiple models Ollama now supports loading different models at the same time. This improves several use cases: - Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): both the embedding and text completion models can be loaded into memory simultaneously. - Agents: multiple versions of an agent can now run simultaneously - Running large and small models side-by-side Models are automatically loaded and unloaded based on requests and how much GPU memory is available.

$here's proof of how far ahead of their time previous 2Ks were when it came to animations Some of the most popular moves in our recent and current 2Ks are shortened and copy and pasted animations that existed 7+ years ago. That’s a big reason why I don’t necessarily believe pro play itself is the problem. We still see traces of that same animation quality today, but we’re only getting a tiny fraction of what was once available. The biggest difference is variety. The selection has become way smaller, and the animations we receive today are closer in style to what used to be the basic or normal packages, rather than the more expressive pro/elite options. those older packages had a level of creativity and visual appeal that made individual playstyles feel more distinct. And these are only the similarities I’ve personally noticed. ik theres more examples across different games, and this cycle extends beyond just 2k19-2k26, with different animation names being recycled but im not looking to expose i just want to show as a community we deserve more effort put into the animations like it used to be. Seedance 2.0 VS Kling 3.0! 🔥 Essential comparison to understand the two best models on the market Conclusions and prompt: The generations are radically different, using the same initial and final frames and spaceship elements. I specified that it's a fast-paced, cinematic action scene. But Seedance has created a beautiful, relaxing, high-quality scene. The rendering of the ship's movements is sublime with Seedance; it's a dynamic, cinematic-quality 3D element. The Kling scene conveys the message better; I specified that it should splash in the water. The sounds are good; in Seedance, the sound quality is cinematic. I've added a third shot with Kling and a giant. I used Kling 3.0 at Higgsfield Prompt in comment:

You are probably wrong about open weight models 🫣 I was too. Then I started using more open weight models, recently tried MiniMax_Agent. I honestly did not expect the quality I got from MiniMax. It built this entire 3D skateboard application with Three.js, including Awwwards style animations that too writing whole codebase in under 5 minutes. But then it spent another 30 to 45 minutes testing everything by itself in a headless Chromium browser. It took screenshots, verified interactions, and tested the application end to end before finishing. I actually love that it does this because the final output is much more reliable. I just wish there was a setting to skip browser testing when I want to iterate quickly. Its code generation is so fast that this would make it an incredible tool for rapid prototyping. Quality also surprised me the most. It generated high quality 3D geometry using nothing but math. It also created really polished animations. My prompt was simply to make them feel like something you would see on Awwwards. I never described how the animations should work. It figured that out on its own. After spending more time with MiniMax M3 and other, I think open weight models are much closer to Claude and GPT than many people realize. Or maybe better? I am still testing them, but so far I have been genuinely impressed. Also, it didn't cost anything as I got free credits on sign up. Can't say no to freebies 😂 Live: Design:
