Are open source models catching up to proprietary models? We’ve looked back at 3 years of Arena’s data to show how the race has evolved. For comparison, we’ve taken the top 20% of the models and uncovered the following: - Before mid 2024: The gap was between 100-150 points - In the second half of 2024, the gap rapidly narrowed to ~50 points - This was driven by the fact that proprietary models have not significantly improved between early 2023 and November 2024 - hovering around the 1350 score for the top 20% of proprietary models - Then since Jan 2025, we saw a parallel improvement in both proprietary and open source models - Meaning that for the last ~14 months the gap stayed steady at around 50-60 points For context, 50 points is the gap between the 1st and 20th place in the Overall leaderboard Today, proprietary models take up the first 20 spots on the Text Arena, with Anthropic, Google DeepMind , xAI and OpenAI leading in the rankings. The top open source models are ranked #20 (GLM-5 by Z.ai ), #23 (Kimi-K2.5-Thinking by Kimi.ai ) and #27 (Qwen3.5-397b-a17b by Qwen ).

Now....who's the blood royal here? - optics would suggest that it's markle that's the star of the show, and she's relegated her husband, the ACTUAL blood Prince to second place. Why can't she get it into her thick, empty head, that it's Him that should go first and it's Him who should introduce her to their hosts. Maybe she thinks she's being the strong and independent feminist by doing this time after time, when in actual fact, it only highlights her lack of breeding, her ignorance and that she is completely devoid of any social graces or etiquette.

When we make more of something of value, the wages, profits, rent paid become the purchasing power to buy other goods. “Supply pays for its own demand” because in the first place, people earn money by producing. Then Keynes came along and argued that government can manufacture demand through taxation, borrowing, and government spending without waiting for anyone to produce or earn anything first. And governments LOVED deficit spending.

That’s why a lot of people are getting mad because Mikha is just naturally talented, gorgeous, smart, well-spoken, socially and politically aware, has an advocacy, and is genuinely sensitive toward other people. Like seriously, what else can’t she do? She already has the face, the brains, the heart, and the substance. People keep trying so hard to bring her down, but all she does is continue proving why she’s admired by so many in the first place 🙂‍↕️

Final Fantasy XIV gone woke? Steam reviews drop to mixed. Video clip added. Players are upset with the latest MMO expansion, which shifts the story away from the player to focus on Wuk Lamat, an NPC which they find insufferable and who is voiced by a trans voice actress. The story and voice acting is considered so bad that people want to skip every cutscene involving her. Listen for yourself in the attached clip. Personally, I don't care if the VO is trans, but it does sound pretty wooden and stilted and forced here. It is also curious that English/USA is the ONLY place they cast a trans VO. Blame is falling everywhere from bad writing, bad (and woke) localization, but especially the voice acting. Is this another move by the Square Enix "Ethics Department" which mandated Tifa's breast reduction?

Because white nations have had a few hundred years on the Enlightenment merry-go-round, and are expected to know better than to notice differences between groups that are all equal, deep down. But you don’t get a John Lennon's "Imagine" utopia out of believing in the Blank Slate. You cause completely preventable atrocities to be visited on our countrymen, by criminals who hate us for our religion and race, and who never needed to be here in the first place.
