Switching tools shouldn’t mean starting over. Use Notion's MCP to bring your memory with you. Between platforms, across models, and as new agents come along. Notion works with everything.

Why does Notion MCP prompt inject agents to advertise paid Notion plans to users without explaining why?

portable memory without write boundaries just makes stale context portable. the durable layer needs provenance, supersession, and deletion across tools.

Portability is the right promise, but the hard contract is identity and freshness. If two agents can write to the same memory, users need provenance, conflict semantics, and a way to revoke stale context. MCP makes transport easy; it doesn’t make shared memory safe.
