Clashes between the Syrian military, security forces, and paramilitary groups backed by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued today in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo. Heavy fighting has been reported across most Kurdish-majority neighborhoods, with the fiercest clashes concentrated around Sheikh Maqsood.

#Syria: #Damascus and #SDF carried out their largest prisoner exchange to date. 300 people were freed by each side on the occasion of Eid Fitr and Nowruz. Most of those released by Damascus were SDF & affiliated fighters captured during clashes 2 months ago. Prisoner releases will continue until the detainee file between the 2 sides is once for all closed.
