New Cabbage recipe unlocked- Cabbage Beef Roll? Ingredients 1 small cabbage 500 g ground beef (or lamb) 100g rice 1 medium onion (I used a sautéed onion) Fresh parsley, chopped Seasonings: Salt & black pepper to taste 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp ground coriander ½ tsp ground cumin Cayenne pepper (optional) Sauce 100 g tomato paste 100 ml heavy cream 300 ml water 1 tsp garlic powder Salt & black pepper to taste 1 tsp dried oregano Cayenne pepper (optional) A few sliced tomatoes for the top Directions Cook rice until half-done, about 5-8 minutes. Drain well. Separate the cabbage leaves and boil them for 2-3 minutes until softened. Drain well. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, rice, sautéed onion, parsley, and all the seasonings. Add 2-3 tbsp of water to the meat mixture to keep it extra juicy, then mi› well. Mix together the tomato paste, heavy cream, water, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Line a baking dish with cabbage leaves. Spread a layer of the meat mixture on top, then cover with more cabbage leaves. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with cabbage leaves. Pour the sauce evenly over the top and arrange the sliced tomatoes. Cover with foil and bake at 200°C for 1 hour.
