Vision is an absolute marvel of Divine Engineering. It requires a minimum of 3 systems working together from the start, or we don't see. 1. Eyes to capture light & convert into signals 2. Pathways to transport the signal 3. A brain to process it Evolution can't build it one step at a time, because there is no vision until all those systems exist and function together. Compounding the complexity further, each of those 3 systems themselves require a minimum number of more complex subsystems to function properly. For instance, all eyes require opsin proteins. Opsin is a highly complex protein that holds a special light-sensitive molecule called retinal; when a single photon hits the retinal, it instantly flips shape, triggering the opsin to change its 3D shape and trigger a precise cascade which converts the light into an electrical signal to be sent to the brain where it can be understood as vision. Opsin alone, is useless. It needs the retinal molecule plus the full cascade, or it does nothing. This is the case with ALL vision systems, confirmed over and over again the lab. No partially formed system produces any vision, or any other function for that matter. Many uninformed Evolutionists attempt to argue that we see different levels of complexity in vision systems, which they say is evidence that vision evolved gradually from simpler systems. But the evolutionary scientists themselves refute this. Even the very simplest possible system of vision - the infamous "light sensitive cell" - still relies on a similar highly complex, interconnected network of proteins and other molecules. Mainstream evolutionary science even teaches that vision systems evolved independently, from scratch, at least 40 different times. The reason is because many vision systems are so different, operating with such unique parts, that one simply could not have evolved from another. The fossil record itself refutes the concept of step by step construction of vision systems. Complex eyes appear early in the fossil record, fully formed & functional. There is no increasing complexity in the fossil record - it's a complete contradiction of evolutionary predictions. The vision system has all the Hallmark evidence of design. A complex, interconnected web of information processing systems with incomprehensibly precise timing & coordination between them all to produce a highly specialized function. Nature does not, and cannot, produce such a system, not with all the time and resources in the entire universe. Everything you see is a testament to the Power of our Creator.

This is a Kinesin Molecule. These little molecular machines are commonly referred to as the "workhorse" of the cell, hauling important cargo like organelles, proteins and other cellular structures to their proper location within the cell. Kinesins are very clear & undeniable evidence of the intelligent design in Life. Kinesins are complex molecular machines, made up of 4 total proteins, each between 500-1,300 amino acids in length. If these aa sequences are not perfectly aligned from the beginning, Kinesin never forms, and cellular life would be unable to survive. Here is how they work: When a new protein, organelle, or other cellular structure is created in the Cytosol of the cell, they are constructed with built-in "binding tags," which are like shipping labels that bind to other protein molecules called Adaptor or Scaffold Proteins. These Adaptor/Scaffold Proteins then attach to the Kinesin's tail, which activates them, and then the Kinesin is guided along the microtubule track to its to its final destination. Kinesin walk on self-assembling tracks of other proteins, called microtubules, moving cargo from the inner area of the cell where they are constructed to the outer edges where they function. This is a complex & sophisticated interdependent network of molecular machines, all relying on one another to function properly for the health of the cell. This Intracellular Transportation system MUST be fully functional from the beginning - with all these working parts, or all of it fails, and the cell dies. Without this entire functioning system, Life could not exist. And the Kinesin is the centerpiece to all of it. Experiments have shown that disrupting Kinesin activity has catastrophic consequences. This type of nano-precision is an obvious example of designed engineering. Blind, unguided evolutionary processes cannot plan ahead and create complex informational highways for precision transportation. The proposed evolutionary explanation is simply "co-option." A nebulous term which basically amounts to, "We don't know how it evolved, but it must have evolved from some other thing that was similar in the past." No observational data supports evolutionary co-option. It's absurd to believe any part of this was built by blind chance. Everything in the cell points to Intelligent Design.

First thing that should be clarified, this is not a partnership or an affiliation with Ravensburger or Disney. I’m a huge Lorcana and Disney fan and would love to partner with them if ever possible. I was lucky enough to get to travel to all the NA DLCs last year and meet tons of other fans. We will be releasing altered/custom foiled versions of the official Lorcana playmats. All playmats were purchased by myself and will include the original box. We are limited on each design but overall we have almost 300 spread across all designs now. This 1st release will include Elsa, Tinker Bell, Rapunzel, Wizard Pooh, Belle, and We could be Immortals. The 2nd release will have Champion playmats and some of the remaining designs. The date for the 1st release will be Sunday May 18th. Price range for each playmat will depend on the price of the original playmat and how complex the design takes to make. These will be starting at $60. There will be a limit 1 copy of each design per order. The goal is to make these accessible to all players at an affordable price. We are planning to launch our “SYOP” program by June. This will allow customers to send in their own official playmats to get foiled out for Lorcana, Pokemon, MTG, and etc. This service will start at $40. We will have drop offs at selected shows coming up this year. International shipping will be turned on for physical purchases but not for the SYOP program. Thank you all again for the support. I started creating playmats as a hobby in my free time because of my passion for the game. I have enjoyed the journey so far and it’s so refreshing to actually be able to work on art again. We are excited about the future ahead and truly appreciate all of our fans. If you have any questions, please let us know.

The CEO of one of the world's biggest banks just said something no banker was supposed to say out loud. His name is Georges Elhedery. He runs HSBC — $3 trillion in assets, the world's 4th largest bank. He didn't talk about digital transformation. He talked about "ruthlessly killing complexity." "Things don't become complex by design. They end up becoming complex by lack of focus." HSBC now has 100+ AI use cases deployed, half already in production. 85% of employees use generative AI tools. The $1.5 billion cost-savings target was hit six months early. 20,000 jobs — 10% of the global workforce — are on the table. Here's what nobody says out loud. Complexity isn't a mistake. It's the natural output of a system that hired people to coordinate other people. AI doesn't just replace the work. It exposes what the work actually was. Most of those 20,000 jobs weren't creating value. They were managing friction created by the previous 20,000 jobs. AI is the first technology ruthless enough to say: "that entire category of work is overhead, not output." The first-order story is AI cutting jobs. The second-order story is AI revealing which jobs were always phantom overhead. Understanding that difference is what separates clear analysis from headlines. I made a free toolkit breaking down 100+ mental models used by history's greatest thinkers — the same frameworks that help you see patterns like this before everyone else. 5,000+ downloads. 113 five-star reviews. Prototyping used to scare me. So I tried to escape it. I remember when I first started designing in Figma, prototyping felt like a mountain I didn’t want to climb. It was that one thing most designers quietly avoided some even said it’s not necessary 😄. I searched for shortcuts. Tried ProtoPie. Looked into Principle. Hoped one of them would save me the trouble. But they all felt disconnected. Too complex. Or just not Figma. So I made a decision: If I’m designing in Figma, I’m prototyping in Figma too. That meant doing everything, product planning, ideation, low-fi, high-fi, and interaction flows all in one tool. No more bouncing around. No more excuses. The first nut to crack? A loading effect. It took me 4 days to figure out. I searched everywhere, YouTube had nothing at the time. But I cracked it just one morning I saw myself trying it out in my dream. Woke up immediately and it was 4am, tried it and it worked. And that changed everything. Prototyping became the one language I could use to explain my designs… without explaining. Today, every prototype I create lives and breathes in Figma. Most of them can either be creative exploration or me trying to fix a broken user experience. No exports. No guesswork. Just clean, clickable experiences. It wasn’t easy. But I’m glad I stopped running from it. Because I would’ve missed out on one skill that: ✅ Earned my first £95K within 7 months while in UK. ✅ Got Uber to reach out to speak about interactive design. ✅ Worked with so many client even from Pakistan. ✅ Watched by more than 1 million people in the first 6 months I started sharing interactive designs. ✅ Prototyping landed me a 9-month contract just 3 days after getting laid off last year. ✅ Funny how the skill I once ran from helped me grow from 500 to 50,000 followers in 7 months. Prototyping gave my work a voice. #prototyping #figmaexperience #productdesign

ATTENTION! There is GREAT debate whether Iran had a nuclear bomb or how close they were to possessing one. This SITREP addresses what it takes to build one and readers can then speculate whether Iran had one or not. That said (and let’s face it), this war between IS & IR is as much or more about regime change as it is about destroying IR’s ability to possess a NUC. First, the time to build a NUC bomb after highly uranium enrichment (HEU) depends on several factors, including the level of enrichment, the design of the weapon, technical expertise, and available resources (ALL OF WHICH IRAN HAD). Here's a breakdown: For a simple fission bomb, like what’s referred to as a "gun-type" design, HEU with at least 90% uranium-235 is typically required. If the uranium is already enriched to this level, the enrichment step is complete. My judgement is the Israelis assessed that Iran was likely at that level of enrichment and could not risk further development of a NUCLEAR BOMB. For a sophisticated state like Iran was, with enough HEU, technical know-how, and pre-existing infrastructure, a basic gun-type bomb (think WWII Little Boy or Fat Man) can be assembled in weeks. Essentially, the design of bombs like these is simpler, requiring less sophisticated engineering. And testing can be conducted deep underground. Some “experts” will argue Fat Man is more complex (that's true). Overcoming this requires precise engineering of components like the neutron initiator and explosive lenses (Iran likely has (or had) access to these type technical components). What’s Next (Steps post enrichment): 1. Material Fabrication: Shaping the HEU into the required form (e.g., a core or pit), which only takes days to weeks with proper equipment. 2. Component Manufacturing: Building other parts like the tamper, reflector, and detonators. This could take weeks to months, depending on the design and available technology (Iran was reported to be working on these for years). The sophistication of their ballistic missile capability allowed this type of technical testing & development. 3. Assembly and Testing: Integrating components and ensuring functionality. For a gun-type bomb, this is straightforward (days to weeks). For an implosion design, precision testing and machining could extend the timeline significantly (months). This above analysis assumes no major obstacles (like having your nuclear, engineering, and technical support facilities decimated by a severe Israeli bombing campaign). Other obstacles are political, logistical, or internal security constraints. All could extend timelines significantly. Additionally, some types of more modern nuclear weapons often involve more complex designs, and require further time for development and testing. AND, the deranged Iranian regime could care less about rules and norms or international law (or development & testing protocols of the IAEA for instance). They were already sponsoring terrorism globally (never mind in their own region). Bottom Line: Everyone that has been paying attention knows Iran has long wanted a NUC, they worked toward achieving one, they were very close, and as the leading nation for state sponsor of terrorism around the world, Iran could NEVER be allowed to possess a NUC. The regime said they wanted to annihilate Israel off the map!! That said, the problem isn't Israel, the problem is the tyrannical Iranian regime that has a death wish for its own people, its neighbors and anyone else who doesn’t believe in its way of life. The current Iran regime represents a global problem for all humanity. I support and will pray for Israel and the people of Iran. Donald J. Trump JD Vance Secretary Marco Rubio DNI Tulsi Gabbard Take a listen to this video from early 2017. Trump has been correct in his belief about no NUCs for Iran for a long time.

Solana is rewriting its core. Episode 3 of TheCoordinate is about one of the most ambitious protocol upgrades in crypto right now: AlpenGlow, a redesign of Solana 's consensus + data propagation stack. I sat down with Roger Wattenhofer, Kobi and Quentin Kniep from Anza to break down: > what was structurally limited in TowerBFT + PoH? > how AlpenGlow works end-to-end: Rotor (erasure-coded dissemination via relays) + Voter (a dance of fast and slow paths) > why they are optimizing for a 20% Byzantine + 20% crash-fault model? > what changes for validators + RPCs when votes move off-chain (VAT/fee mechanics, different cost structure, and a smaller ledger footprint)? > what 100s-of-ms finality means in practice for MEV, remote validators, and upcoming multi-proposer designs? If you’re building or operating on Solana, this is one of those quiet-but-fundamental stack shifts and you may wanna listen to this episode to learn how this upgrade touches you. This is Episode 3 of TheCoordinate. Hope you enjoy it. ------------------------------------------------ Timestamps: 0:00 Intro: digital intelligence needs digital institutions 0:30 AlpenGlow overview + guests from Anza 1:24 Origin story: from “how to halt Solana” paper to building AlpenGlow 5:24 What was limited in TowerBFT/PoH: equivocation + why Turbine doesn’t fully solve it 7:48 The “20% Byzantine + 20% crash-fault” security model (and why) 10:39 The new stack: Rotor (propagation) + Voter (consensus) replaces PoH/gossip/tower 11:47 Rotor deep dive: blocks → slices → shreds + relays + erasure coding 22:03 Voter deep dive: yes/no voting, certificates, and skipping bad leaders fast 30:16 Fast vs slow path finality: 80% yes vs 2-round completion (and why both can win) 34:51 Validator economics + RPC implications: votes off-chain, VAT/fee, smaller ledger footprint 45:55 RPC/WebSocket implications: first-class participation vs second-hand data 47:21 Replacing “global clock” semantics for apps that relied on PoH time 49:20 Migration planning: testnets, coordination, and switching safely

🚨THIS GUY FLIPPED $6 INTO $4 MILLION IN JUST A WEEK!! This is NOT a clickbait or fake. If you’re trading on Polymarket, you MUST read it. He began with around $6-7 and somehow pushed it to ~$4M He’s not an insider Not buddies with Trump or Musk Just a coder who built his own script Profile → Copytrade → I went through his code and ngl, I was shocked No huge datasets No crazy complex infrastructure Nothing close to “rocket science” I spent roughly 4-6 hours dissecting his whole setup His FULL strategy: 1. “Free money” through NO bets The bot hunts near-impossible scenarios and stacks tons of tiny, high-probability wins. This isn’t gambling - imo it’s more like systematic risk farming 2. Logic arbitrage If event A clearly leads to event B, and the market hasn’t priced it yet, the bot jumps in instantly. While u’re still reading the headline, the inefficiency is already gone. No human can match that speed, tbh 3. The real edge - sports and politics These markets are packed with retail money + slow, emotional reactions. The bot lives off the spread, clipping tiny profits from every small mismatch Scale matters Tens of thousands of micro trades every month, each bringing just cents. Stacked over time, they compound into 7 figures Bottom line IMO, there’s a silent bot war happening on Polymarket Crypto markets are already crowded, slow, and fee-heavy, but sports markets are still pure chaos - easy money for those who automate.

Hidden beneath the streets of Margate, Kent, England, lies one of the world’s most puzzling and awe-inspiring structures — the Shell Grotto, a subterranean cave system adorned with millions of shells arranged in intricate patterns and mosaics. Discovered by sheer accident in 1835, this underground passageway has since become a source of fascination and mystery, captivating the imaginations of archaeologists, historians, and visitors alike. What truly sets this grotto apart from other historical wonders is not just its stunning craftsmanship but the profound mystery surrounding its origin, purpose, and creators. The Shell Grotto was discovered by a curious young boy named James Newlove while digging a duck pond with his father. As they dug deeper, they stumbled upon a passageway that led into a cavernous series of tunnels covered from floor to ceiling with millions of shells, arranged in intricate and elaborate designs. This hidden masterpiece, buried beneath layers of earth, had remained untouched and unseen for what many believe could have been centuries. As word of the discovery spread, scholars, locals, and travelers flocked to see this astonishing underground marvel. Yet, as people began to explore its depths, more questions emerged than answers. Who built it? When was it created? And most intriguingly, why? Upon entering the Shell Grotto, visitors are greeted by a mesmerizing array of over 4.6 million shells meticulously arranged to form mosaics that span the walls and ceilings. The craftsmanship is nothing short of extraordinary — every inch of the grotto is covered in shells, including local varieties such as whelk, mussels, cockles, and oysters, all carefully selected and positioned to create symbols, patterns, and figures. The designs are both captivating and confounding. Some mosaics depict what appear to be stars, suns, flowers, and geometric shapes, while others suggest more cryptic symbols, resembling serpents, birds, and human figures. These intricate designs give the grotto an otherworldly and almost mystical quality. Yet, despite the extensive study of these mosaics, their meanings remain shrouded in mystery. Are they religious symbols, ancient hieroglyphics, or simply the whims of an imaginative artist? One of the most compelling aspects of the Shell Grotto is the total absence of any historical record about its construction. No one knows who built it, why, or even when it was created. Over the years, various theories have emerged, each offering its own intriguing possibility: Ancient Temple or Shrine - Some believe Shell Grotto could be remnants of an ancient temple or religious shrine, perhaps dating back to Roman or Phoenician period. Mysterious symbols and patterns could be connected to forgotten rites or ceremonies, with the shells themselves acting as sacred or spiritual symbols. Given Margate’s coastal location, it is plausible that the grotto was once part of a larger complex used by ancient civilizations. Medieval Secret Society Meeting Place - Another theory posits that grotto served as a secret meeting place for hidden society or organization during the medieval era. The covert nature of the grotto’s location, combined with the symbolic motifs, has led some to speculate that it was used by the Knights Templar or another clandestine group for rituals or gatherings. The cave’s secluded design certainly aligns with the need for privacy and secrecy. A Product of Eccentricity or Victorian Art - Yet another possibility is that grotto was constructed in 18th or 19th Century by an eccentric individual with a passion for art and design. This theory suggests that Shell Grotto might be an elaborate art project created purely for aesthetic pleasure, with the intention of mesmerizing and baffling those who encountered it. In this case, intricate shellwork would serve as a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of the period rather than as religious or symbolic structure. #archaeohistories

Among the greatest masterpieces of Western classical music, very few works have been as extensively studied and analyzed as Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67 by Ludwig van Beethoven. The fame of the work is often associated with its famous four-note opening motif. However, the true source of the symphony’s greatness does not lie in those four notes themselves. It lies in a chain of closely connected principles, developed from those four simple notes, extending from musical structure to human psychology, and at a deeper level, opening up philosophical reflections. To understand why this symphony has moved audiences for over two centuries, we need to proceed step by step from the surface to its deepest layers. 1. The visible musical detail: The four-note motif The symphony opens with one of the simplest musical ideas in history: Three short notes. One long note. What matters is not the pitch of the notes, but their internal structure. As Charles Rosen and Donald Francis Tovey have pointed out, the value of this motif is not that it is a famous melody, but that it is a rhythmic and structural “cell” capable of virtually unlimited self-development. Rather than functioning merely as an opening theme, it becomes the “DNA” of the entire work. The audience hears only four notes. But in that very moment, Beethoven has already established the principle that governs the entire symphony. 2. Structural principle: A self-generating musical system As the work develops, the motif no longer functions as a conventional melody. Its rhythm, its tension, and its structural proportions gradually permeate every layer of the music. Theme. Transition. Harmony. Orchestration. Form. Everything begins to operate according to the same underlying principle. The listener no longer perceives separate musical ideas. They are hearing a single principle continuously reorganizing itself in different forms. This is one of Beethoven’s greatest innovations. He does not build the symphony from multiple independent ideas. He allows the entire work to grow from a unified principle. 3. The listener’s experience: A sense of necessity This unity produces a particular effect. When every musical event develops naturally from what came before, the listener gradually gains the sense that everything is necessary. No detail appears randomly. No section could be arbitrarily replaced. Every conflict demands resolution. Every modulation seems driven by the internal logic of the music. Donald Francis Tovey called this feeling “dramatic necessity.” The music makes the listener feel that it could not unfold in any other way. The listener is no longer hearing a sequence of sounds. They are witnessing the operation of a system with its own internal logic. 4. Psychological root: The human desire for order But why does this sense of necessity move the listener so deeply? Part of the answer lies in how humans perceive the world. Human beings have a natural tendency to seek patterns, unity, and meaning in their experiences. When what initially seems complex gradually reveals itself as part of a unified whole, the mind experiences a profound sense of satisfaction. What moves the listener is not only that the music is beautiful. It is that they perceive a transformation from chaos to order. They realize that all conflicts, interruptions, and instabilities ultimately find their place within a meaningful totality. Thus, the symphony responds to one of the most fundamental tendencies of human cognition: The desire to discover unity beneath what appears fragmented. 5. Philosophical layer: Order emerging from conflict At a deeper level, the symphony can also be interpreted in light of an idea that appears in many classical philosophical traditions. Since ancient Greece, many philosophers have viewed beauty as the manifestation of inner order within what appears complex. The concept of cosmos originally meant not only “the universe,” but also a harmonious order in which each element finds its proper place within the whole. Seen through this lens, Symphony No. 5 does not merely resolve musical conflicts. It also evokes the image of an order gradually emerging from those very conflicts. The journey from C minor to C major is not only a tonal transformation. It is a journey from a state of tension to a state of unity. Whether or not Beethoven consciously intended this symbolic layer, the music nevertheless produces this experience for many listeners. It creates the sense that beneath apparent chaos there exists a deeper order. 6. The deepest root of greatness Thus, the greatness of Symphony No. 5 does not lie simply in its famous four-note motif. Nor does it lie solely in Beethoven’s mastery of harmony, rhythm, orchestration, or sonata form. The true greatness of the work lies in the fact that all structural levels serve a single artistic purpose. A simple rhythmic motif becomes an organizing principle. That organizing principle creates the necessity of the entire structure. This necessity produces a sense of unified order. And that sense of order touches one of humanity’s oldest aspirations: The hope that behind all conflict, instability, and fragmentation in life, there exists a deeper order, a unity, and a meaning that can be recognized. Therefore, Symphony No. 5 is not only an outstanding musical achievement. It is an artistic experience in which the listener does not merely hear order. They perceive the very process by which order is formed. That is why the work has transcended the era in which it was composed. It does not speak only to the human ear. It also speaks to one of the deepest longings of the human mind: That behind complexity there is always unity. Behind conflict there is always reconciliation. And behind what appears chaotic, there is always an order gradually being revealed.

This year Demis Hassabis predicted AI could cure all disease in a decade. But Claus Wilke & Derek Lowe say biology is far more complex, or progress will be limited by clinical trials & economics. In a new 4hr episode of the Hard Drugs podcast, we answer: Will AI solve medicine and cure all diseases (within a decade)? We talk about drug discovery, virtual cells, the Human Genome Project, manufacturing, nanobots, innovative clinical trial design, and much more. AI is already being used in drug discovery, and there’s been a lot of progress predicting the structure of soluble proteins, tweaking proteins and designing new structures, as we’ve covered in previous episodes. But there’s still a huge gap in understanding protein dynamics and interactions, as there are many areas where measurement tools and data collection are limited, including events that happen in the span of milliseconds or microseconds, which is how fast many things occur in biological systems. And while computing has scaled exponentially with Moore’s Law, drug development has faced the opposite: Eroom’s Law, where innovation has gotten more complex and more expensive over time. Even with promising drug candidates, we talk about why human testing – not in animals or virtual cells – will continue to be vital, to test which ones are effective and safe, even though models will help earlier in the pipeline. Beyond that, large samples and long follow ups are needed to detect rare side effects, understand whether drugs cause long-term complications, and find ways to manage them. It’s hard to see AI getting around the desire for rigorous safety data in real humans. Another big challenge is the capital and expertise needed to produce and scale personalized medicines and complex biological products, surgeries, transplants, antibodies, and gene-editing tools, which have entirely different cost structures from small molecule drugs. Their manufacturing and delivery often require highly skilled staff and expensive, intensive, individualized procedures. Cost challenges are also severe for tropical and rare diseases, where the financial return to diagnose, do research, develop drugs, manufacture and deliver them at scale, is limited. Without philanthropic funding and economic growth, a lot of diseases are going to remain uncurable, and a lot of people are going to go untreated – whether that’s because of a lack of trust, poor economic and financial incentives, limited public health ambition, and policy. In one sense, we’re skeptical that AI can solve medicine on its own. But in another, there are many areas where we think AI can help. So the episode also functions as a roadmap to speed up medical progress and scale up the delivery of lifesaving medicines – with AI and other approaches to reform the pipeline. What are the economic incentives, innovative trial designs, and data collection efforts that can help drive further medical progress? And how does AI fit in? You’ll have to listen to find out! "Close to 100% of the features we build end up being used by a significant number of people." —Eilon Reshef, co-founder and CPO of Gong To make this happen, every product team at Gong works with 6-12 design partners on every new feature and product idea. As a result, unlike what most companies experience, almost everything they build ends up being widely adopted. In my conversation with Eilon, we dig into: 🔸 How specifically Gong's teams work with design partners 🔸 Lessons learned from being early in AI 🔸 Gong's early super-narrow ICP 🔸 Why you should make big decisions quickly 🔸 His “spiral method” for learning complex topics fast 🔸 How and why Eilon encourages radical autonomy 🔸 More Listen now 👇 • YouTube: • Spotify: • Apple: Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for supporting the podcast: 🏆 WorkOS — Modern identity platform for B2B SaaS, free up to 1 million MAUs: 🏆 Vanta — Automate compliance. Simplify security: 🏆 Think Fast, Talk Smart: The Podcast — Tools and techniques to help you communicate more effectively: Some key takeaways: 1. At Gong, product teams are organized into autonomous “pods,” each consisting of a product manager, UX designer, a few engineers (front-end and back-end), and fractional roles like analysts and writers. Each pod is assigned a clear job-to-be-done, such as improving sales engagement or forecasting accuracy, and takes full ownership of the product development process. Whether it’s improving sales engagement or forecasting accuracy, each pod runs with full ownership. This is how you get teams to move fast and stay aligned. 2. Gong’s pods don’t just build in isolation—they partner with 12 to 20 design partners (existing customers) who give feedback every step of the way. This constant validation keeps the product on track, with about 95% of features actually getting used. 3. If you want more autonomy and speed, you’ve got to trust your team and give them the freedom to experiment. This means that as a leader, you need to step back, give up some visibility, and accept that you’ll make a few mistakes. The tradeoff is worth it—higher velocity, better morale, and more impactful products. 4. To quickly learn a complex topic, use the “spiral method.” Start by speaking with one expert, then ask for recommendations on who else to talk to. Continue having conversations, gradually deepening your understanding. As you hear the same patterns and insights from multiple sources, you’ll know you’ve reached a sufficient depth to make informed decisions. This iterative approach helps you gather knowledge without aiming for perfection right away. 5. When starting out, extreme focus on a specific customer profile can drive faster success. Gong, for example, initially targeted U.S. companies selling software valued between $1,000 to $100,000 via Webex, narrowing their potential customer base to just 5,000 people. This laser focus enabled quicker product-market fit, word-of-mouth growth, a clear product direction, and easier customer acquisition, demonstrating the power of precision in the early stages. 6. When faced with a 51/49 decision, make it quickly. The more time you spend deliberating, the more energy you waste without improving the decision quality. This approach doesn’t work for massive, one-way decisions like expanding to a new market or acquiring a company, but for most day-to-day decisions, don’t wait until everything’s perfect. Commit, move forward, and adjust as you go.
