They have space-based sensing and “Carrier Killer Missiles” that put U.S. carriers and warships at serious risk. Xi Jinping has stated that he wants his military ready by 2027 and will reunify by force if necessary. To deter the CCP the U.S. needs to make it clear that Taiwan is prepared to counter an invasion. The U.S. must focus on counteracting China’s space-based sensing while manufacturing large amounts of attritable systems until China’s population collapses.

The United States has approved arms sales to Taiwan with a total value of more than $11.1 billion. Some commentators say this is the largest U.S. arms sales plan to Taiwan to date. In response, Jiang Bin, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of National Defense, stated that the U.S. announcement of a large-scale arms sales plan to China’s Taiwan region seriously violates the One-China principle and the three China–U.S. Joint Communiqués, seriously harms China’s sovereignty and security interests, and seriously undermines China–U.S. strategic mutual trust, while sending a very wrong signal to “Taiwan independence” separatist forces. "There was a study done by the U.S. War College, on the possibility of supporting Taiwan... if the U.S. came in anywhere between China and Taiwan, they'd just be sunk."
