She has already spent nine months under the conditional sentence, completed her 100 hours of community service and received approval for interprovincial travel for work on 13 separate occasions. He argued that she is under extraordinary scrutiny, saying that if she steps one inch outside the lines, people will notice and authorities will know. The bias of the judge was clearly on display. At times, she was almost finishing the Crown prosecutor's sentences, and at one point, they even giggled together over an argument. The judge even had Tamara Lich's lawyer acknowledge that she has the power to tighten the restrictions. She appeared offended by Ezra's harsh criticism of her decision-making, even though that is exactly what commentary journalism is for: to criticize when the justice system makes decisions that are unfair or biased. Lich has been compliant with her sentence conditions for nine months now. She is requesting permission to travel internationally for work. The Crown is opposing the request, and the final decision is soon to be handed down. But I know that the reverse is true: if Tamara Lich is acquitted today, that will vindicate everything the convoy did, and put the government in its place. 📢 Tamara Lich is under house arrest — so how did we just hire her at Rebel News? Just a few days ago, Tamara Lich 🇨🇦 took her first trip to our Rebel News office as our newest employee! I was there in an Ottawa courtroom when Tamara Lich, the leader of the trucker convoy, was sentenced to a year under house arrest. She’s only allowed to leave her home for medical appointments and church, and a few hours a week to buy groceries. She’s not allowed to go out for dinner or visit friends or even go for a walk. It’s atrocious. But there is another exception: she can leave her home for work. That got me thinking. Tamara has worked with Rebel News before — speaking at our events across Canada, coming on our TV shows and even going on a multi-city book tour to promote her best-selling autobiography. So, with the guidance of Tamara's lawyer, I offered her a formal job. And I sent the job offer to her probation officer, and phoned the probation officer and walked her through it, line by line — including the parts about Tamara travelling. And to my relief, she approved it! So just a few days ago, Tamara took her first trip to our Rebel News office as our newest employee! Obviously it’s a pain in the neck to have to check in with the probation officer every time Tamara travels, and have each trip approved. But if we carefully follow the rules, we will be able to make this work. To me, the most important part of Tamara's job will be our upcoming campus tour, where Tamara will go town by town, like Charlie Kirk did, talking to young people about freedom and hope. She is such a good role model and such a positive person, I truly think she’ll help us win the battle of ideas with young people. But I mentioned Charlie Kirk. And we know about the horrific attack on him that claimed his life. Unfortunately, Canada has seen increasing violence, too, including from Antifa thugs and pro-Hamas extremists. Just last week, a conservative professor, Frances Widdowson, was mobbed by left-wing extremists at the University of Victoria, and police did nothing to protect her. We simply can’t have that happen to our Tamara. So I’ve promised Tamara that we will protect her. We will have professional security guards with her when she goes out in public to do journalism. And when she goes on campus, we’ll have at least four guards assigned just to protect her personally, and more to secure the larger venue. It’s outrageous that police and campus security won’t protect conservatives. No other journalists or activists in Canada have to hire private security guards to keep them safe. I am shocked and disgusted by the 18 month conditional sentence given to Chris Barber "Big Red" official and Tamara Lich. Make no mistake, given the near certainty of a crown appeal, they WILL use this as a stepping stone to a much harsher punishment for Chris and Tamara and to go after more political dissidents with a renewed vigor and ruthlessness. This is a dark day for Canada. As someone fully informed about the facts of the case, arguably the most informed journalist in Canada about this matter, and the evidence presented as well as the punishments given to others in similar circumstances, I find the sentencing to be excessive and punitive. I disagree wholeheartedly with anyone who says otherwise. While it is good they can be at home and leave to work, this sentence is far more severe than my wildest expectations. Based on the findings at trial and the dismissal of Carter, the fact that both Tamara AND Chris were given the same 18 month sentence for the mischief conviction seems on its face egregious and illogical. They had vastly different evidence against them AND the Carter application WAS dismissed. Justice is only so when it is blind and equal. And in our country it is simply neither.

On Saturday, I was invited to the official residence of the American ambassador to Canada to celebrate 250 years of American independence. What a change from how I was treated in Ottawa during the trucker convoy — arrested, jailed and prosecuted just for peacefully protesting against the Liberal government. None of it would have happened without you. I'm still under house arrest. The only way I’m allowed to travel is to clear every trip in advance with my probation officer. But because Rebel News hired me as a journalist and community ambassador — something your donations to The Tamara Project made possible — I was granted a work exemption to attend the 250th Independence Day celebrations in Ottawa alongside the other Rebels. I even had a few minutes to speak with the ambassador himself, and to thank him personally for the support he and so many Americans showed during the Freedom Convoy. That conversation meant a great deal to me. Getting out of the house, standing among people who genuinely believe in freedom, and pushing back a little against the craziness we're all living through, reminded me why I keep doing this, restrictions and all. And, frankly, the cherry on top of this excursion for me was the Liberal meltdown that ensued on Twitter when certain mainstream news pundits found out that I was invited and they weren’t! LIVE: At Birmingham Crown Court today at the sentencing of racist rapist John Ashby, who in Oct 25 attacked and raped a young Sikh women in her own home in Walsall. Our young sister was in court today and confronted her attacker with such courage and strength that it had an emotional and moving impact on all in court and the Judge! In passing sentence of LIFE IMPRISONMENT to Ashby he sited the planning, religiously aggravated and violent nature of the attack and the invasion of her home to commit such a heinous attack! A small sense of relief of justice for our sister, but nothing will erase the trauma of the abuse and life changing experience. Our thoughts and prayers remain with her and her family and may Waheguru grant her all the strength and faith to move on and be an inspiration to the community.

She is now the embodiment of vindictiveness and resentment—furious not because the Convoy failed, but because she didn’t get the credit she craved. Her bitterness has consumed her to the point that she now serves as a symbol of the Crown Prosecutor: petty, punitive, and determined to destroy what she once claimed to support.
