Tee on the inside half. Hit it back up the middle. I’d do this drill a lot to groom my bat path to be short & inside the baseball. If you can consistently be inside the baseball it will allow you to trust your self to let the baseball travel deep towards the plate before you make a decision to swing. When you can let the ball travel deeper to make a decision to swing you swing at better pitches…. When you swing at better pitches & track the ball longer you square up more baseballs…. Foot position at contact is always important, but many don’t realize how extending your toe forward and rotating the top of the foot to face up will actually allow your hips to clear more efficiently. Try not to swing your foot through the ball like a putter. Think of it more like a full golf swing.

Like you can pretty much trade almost every day as long as you get set up. But swing trading is different because swing trading just doesn't work all the time, at least on the long side. You have to be inactive for long periods of time, sometimes for months. While if you're a day trader, you can be more active. Like there is not necessarily periods where you have to be more inactive to the same extent as in swing and position trading. You gotta have a lot of patience. That's also why it's better to have a larger account if you start swing trading because you don't have to worry about the money as much. Like, oh, I have bills to pay, I need to trade, I need to make money. So it's better to have a larger account because you don't give a sh*t. So what if I don't make money this month? It doesn't matter because maybe next month I'll make a million, right? So it doesn't really matter if I don't make money this month. It’s very psychological, too. Very, very psychological, this game.”

So, we simplified his take away with the help of an alignment stick as feedback How you start the swing will influence the rest: Josh would whip it inside and then up high making it very difficult to pivot the body well and deliver the club from a good place. We got Josh to stop at waist height as a check point and then feel a good pivot to the top where his arms were a little flatter. The result in the downswing was a much shallower approach leading to better turf interation and a more predictable straighter ball flight. #golf #golftips

Wuthering Waves is doing their crossover with Cyberpunk Edgerunners. They also did this Developer Deep Dive on their channel today. What struck me was how Western Devs don't talk like this anymore: - We need to push harder for better optimization and compatibility. - We always want to bring you a better game experience. The whole interview is like this, about delivering what gamers want. The focus on the gamer is relentless. Western interviews tend to be more about "what WE wanted to do" which is more dev as storyteller focus and "if you don't like it don't play it."

A common hitting flaw that is rarely corrected and can exposes certain hitters at higher levels, is “leaking” … the player’s front side is “running away” from contact prematurely. Sometimes also called “spinning off” the ball. This means energy is escaping the swing because of a chain of events that usually begins with the incorrect action of the stride foot. Correctly engaging the stride foot into the ground, called “foot-plant,” allows the body to efficiently sequence. As a result, the swing is shorter and barrel stays in the hitting zone longer. The BIG key is we have to be able to ***control our front knee*** before starting to swing. If a hitter can control their front knee and their front side a hair longer, stay behind contact, and attack the inside of the ball, it creates more whip.…(bat speed) and improves plate coverage. You might need to watch the video a couple times, because there are various ways to stride that allow the hitter to control their front knee. It is not a one size fits all action. And hitters who have sick power and want to pull the ball intentionally might actually “leak and clear” on purpose. But players who like to stay to middle of the field, might want to see what the initial movement into foot plant looks like. **** Remember, what happens to the front foot (stride foot) AFTER contact has little consequence. Often heavy torque causes it to fly open, or roll on side of foot. That’s all ok.
