Teacher says there's no longer a difference between special education & general education. He says every teacher is special ed now, what with all the IEPs and 504s. My 2¢: the overly inclusive model is unfair to everyone involved!

ALERT: Teacher fired after chasing and knocking down a special needs student before kicking him on the ground in Gainesville, Texas. Mary Donaldson, a special education consultant, was interviewed about the incident, stating, "That was, to be honest with you, mild behavior. I have seen children far worse than that. I have worked with children far worse than that." Gainesville ISD says the student's guardians were immediately contacted and that the teacher is no longer employed.
