I wish I could share more with you guys about what’s going on behind the scenes but the reality is that no one is willing to go on the record so I can’t. I do think there are people who would share their story if they knew the backlash wouldn’t be so extreme but unfortunately this is the world we live in. YES !!! They listened !!! Do I think this is the 100% best form of compensation, not fully but it most definitely is a step in the right direction. The community coming together on this leading to a result in the form of a change is nice to see. I think people should’ve got all or at least some of their passes back as well. College basketball matters in the Twin Cities, it really does, it’s our job to make it matter. It’s games like this that start to get that going again. I love having the students rush the court, it’s supposed to be fun. You want them to come to the game and enjoy being there, rush the court, see us win. They go home and they had a blast, well you know what, they’re probably going to show up Friday too…and they’re probably going to bring their friends, I hope they do.
