Feet and ankles are one of my biggest limiters. Flat arches (pronation), long feet (and hence usually non-optimal shoe fit), and some neuropathy (from a surgery years ago). Building fitness is never a perpetual straight line. Best of luck in your rebuild.

A setback doesn’t erase the work already done. Smart rehab means respecting the healing process, rebuilding capacity progressively, and preparing the body for the demands ahead. Plyometrics can be a powerful tool when the tissue is ready—progression and timing matter. Keep building, Dr. Baker. 💪
