East flank of the #PalisadesFire is RIPPING. This is my view from 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. This thing is moving towards Brentwood area and if these winds pick up as advertised tonight we’re looking at potential risk to the Sepulveda Pass, Bel Air, etc if it keeps pushing east. Nonstop sirens, as you can hear in the video.

Two of the sketchiest bridges I've crossed in all my travels. The Cairo Mississippi Bridge (built in 1929) and Cairo Ohio Bridge (built in 1938) on US Hwy 60. This video is from the Cairo Ohio Bridge. It's quite narrow and looks terrible. A rusted mess. I feel bad for folks who have to use these bridges on the regular. This is why people get pissed. You see this while billions and billions of dollars are sent overseas. 1/2
