TESLA FSD WARNING: ‼️ I need Tesla’s attention on this. It’s an easy fix. Tesla FSD Subscription has a HUGE LOOPHOLE and to me, it’s very dangerous. My subscription was canceled, without my knowledge. I have no strikes - ever. My subscription was automated withdraw. I have money in the account. This was unexpected and the “expectation of having FSD” Is the danger. I found this issue out mid stop light turn. When I thought it was FSD Engaged but it was actually Autopilot. The TINY message pre-drive saying, “Your Autopilot settings have been reset” was not understood. I thought it was in reference to speed settings. It was not. If I had started my drive from my driveway this would have been obvious, but I wait until I’m out of my neighborhood at a speed of 45mph, before I cut it on. At this point it is was not an obvious difference between Auto Pilot and FSD. It BECAME OBVIOUS mid stoplight turn. Tesla needs to fix this. FSD v14.1: Parking has seen a step change improvement from v13 to v14, including at Superchargers. One area not yet fully-solved is parking at slanted pull-through stalls. But after about an hour of trying, I finally got it to work! The most frequent issues: - overshooting the row of slanted chargers and parking at a non-charging spot past the chargers - successfully parking at a slanted stall but not pulling in far enough In some instances, the car would overshoot the slanted chargers, park at a slanted non-charger spot nearby, go into park, automatically reroute itself to the opposite row, and back into a traditional back-in spot. It did this on a handful of occasions. The same behavior was possible after parking with me rerouting to the charger on the screen and reengaging FSD, but most of the time it went all the way around the parking lot before trying and failing again. This is a significant improvement from even just yesterday morning, when the car tried to back in straight in between two slanted spots! In ~20 attempts this afternoon, I didn’t experience this once. Anecdotally, across my attempts today, the car seemed to get a bit better each time… but it’s hard to say whether or not it’s learning on the fly locally. Ashok Elluswamy - any insight? 🙂 I have no doubt the Tesla AI team will solve this case given how much progress has been shown with v14.1 already. Keep up the great work!

7 drives in with FSD v14.1.1 and here’s my first thoughts: - Everything v14.1 did, it does and more. Exactly the same great performance as expected but better. - ALL my drives were zero intervention around LA tonight. Did really well in parking garages like v14.1. Circled until it finds a spot and backs right in. Did a few loops in/out of the mall garage and it was fantastic. - v14.1.1 has the added benefit of some better lane discipline on highway and lack of brake stutter which some reported. Didn’t see any tonight at all- I didn’t see too much on the previous build, but it was there. - It had a sentient moment where it saw a group of 100+ cyclists taking over a street and without even hesitating it took a different way, even though the navigation wanted it to go straight. Exactly what a human would want to do, it signaled through a tight spot to the turn lane, got in the turn lane and got the heck outta there. It was wild to watch in person and worth a watch on that video. - It is obeying no right turn on red signs, no issue there. Also, insanely smooth merges onto freeway and it enters at the perfect speed. - One thing I’d love to see improved is more assertive lane changes in traffic. It will put the turn signal on and be unsure, which takes a bit, would love to see it be less hesitant. - This build (and v14.1) are AWESOME at merges. Really noticeably improved and drives like a human (and even drives better than most) - v14.1 was great, but v14.1.1 adds the polish it needed to make it smoother around the edges. Really really solid performance tonight. - Really good lane discipline on highway in Hurry mode. It does not camp in the left lane and makes a really good lane choices + selection to get around people. When nobody is around it likes to be in the number 2 lane which is the proper way to do it. - I love how it moves close to the ticket machine in garages, really nice touch and it pulls up to the perfect spot where you can reach and grab the ticket. Will test some drive thrus and other scenarios tomorrow. In this video, you could see it leave the Century City parking garage and drive through Cheviot Hills to the Culver City supercharger where it navigates on top of the parking structure and parks. During this strive in encountered and obeyed 2 no right turn on red signs, speed bumps, dips, a roundabout and the freeway. So impressive to see it make its way there without issue and it’s not even labeled. Really awesome. Excellent work Tesla AI teams getting this o it so quickly, can’t wait to drive it more and see it roll wider hopefully!

What makes that interesting is how strictly the company counts against itself. If FSD was active at any point in the 5 seconds before a crash, it goes down as an FSD collision. That includes cases where the driver grabbed the wheel back or the system handed control over right before impact. Tesla also assigns no fault at all. If another car runs a red light and hits a Tesla on FSD, it still counts against FSD. Collisions are defined by federal standard rather than company preference, using airbag deployment for major crashes and a velocity change of 8 km/h within 150 milliseconds for minor ones. Tesla Self-Driving v14.2.2.4 First Drive I keep typing out and then deleting my words—it’s hard to give a good “review” of FSD when each version feels so similar to the last. That’s not a bad thing. Overall, FSD now handles everything it should, and it has for a while. There are still issues with speed control (I made a separate post about that), no max speed setting, rolling stops aren’t implemented, navigation could use work, etc. With all that said, the car drove me around for an hour tonight with zero interventions. It parked perfectly at every destination, made smart lane choices, and drove really well. Is FSD v14.2.2.4 perfect? No. But it’s incredible how good FSD has become. I’ll do a proper drive tomorrow and give a better review. I just wanted to get something out tonight for those who care. It’s almost 1 a.m., so I’m heading to bed. If there’s anything specific you want me to test tomorrow, let me know and I’ll try it on my drive.

There are still issues with speed control (I made a separate post about that), no max speed setting, rolling stops aren’t implemented, navigation could use work, etc. With all that said, the car drove me around for an hour tonight with zero interventions. It parked perfectly at every destination, made smart lane choices, and drove really well. Is FSD v14.2.2.4 perfect? No. But it’s incredible how good FSD has become. I’ll do a proper drive tomorrow and give a better review. I just wanted to get something out tonight for those who care. It’s almost 1 a.m., so I’m heading to bed. If there’s anything specific you want me to test tomorrow, let me know and I’ll try it on my drive.

FSD v14.1: 69 miles from Florida’s Space Coast to Orlando The car handled the entire route perfectly, including a stop I added along the way, and attempted to park at the end of the drive. It did so smoothly, but incorrectly parked along a yellow curb where parking is not permitted. (One might note that the first autonomous customer delivery did the same thing in Austin 🙂.) Probably fine for a quick Robotaxi drop off… A quick manual parking at the end was the only driving input I had during the whole drive. Had I been in the backseat with no driver or monitor, I would’ve been safe and comfortable. Great progress Tesla AI team! Still figuring out the ideal camera configuration - this was shot on iPhone and I accidentally zoomed in a tad using my watch’s Digital Crown mid-drive, hence the shift in the middle.

$TSLA 🇰🇷 BREAKING : I just experienced FSD (Supervised) for the first time in Korea. The vehicle is Model X and the FSD version is *V14.1.4. We have yet to see any official cases of V14 being applied outside of the United States and Canada. I've just completed my first FSD run for about an hour. (I've experienced about 10,000km of FSD in the U.S.) Except for the parking lot, there was never a case where I intervened during the FSD drive. The first impression of the FSD that works in Korea is that it is very amazing and a great achievement of the Tesla AI team. Although there was one case where I went off the road without following the navigation, the FSD thought to itself and drove on the right path. The overall experience in Korea was very good, such as turning left, turning right, U turn, joining lanes, and changing lanes. It's kind of like... an American driver driving in Korea on an international driver's license. If more data is generated in the future and the number of users increases, higher achievement of FSD in Korea is very much expected. I can't wait for more people to experience FSD in Korea! (Tesla Korea is a HW4 vehicle that purchased FSD and will update the FSD (Supervised) in the future for vehicles suitable for VIN number 5or7.
