Tesla took Cybercab to the National Federation of the Blind’s convention. Honestly, probably the best place in the world to show off a driverless car. These are the people who could gain real independence from it. Braille controls. Room for service animals. Space for assistive devices. Seats at a better height for wheelchair transfers. Tesla has introduced an updated website for the production version of the Tesla Semi. "Charging with electricity can be cheaper per mile than refueling with diesel, and BEV maintenance costs are significantly lower given the absence of diesel aftertreatment systems and relative simplicity of electric powertrains. As a result of these savings, local and regional operators may be able to achieve a positive ROI prior to their standard diesel fleet replacement turnover cycle. With remote diagnostics, over-the-air software updates and fewer moving parts to maintain, operators will spend less time at service centers and more time on the road."

Just weeks ago I considered this to be a map of Superchargers. The foundation that made EV’s a going concern for the first time. But it’s not. These dots represent fully permitted and built power stations in an era where every AI player is trying to figure out how to get power for compute. This is the largest electrical power moat I’ve ever seen that can fully supply current and future charging needs while collecting and storing cheaper power during off-peak to supply an AI revolution. Elon doesn’t care who knows anymore. 2nd place is… crumbs. AWS was built from excess server space needed during peak demand. Now it’s bigger and more valuable than the core Amazon retail business. Tesla is about to drop a hardware smackdown right in the face of software engineers. AI prototypes are easy. Scaling is hard. If only Tesla had a factory pouring out millions of chips each year that are underutilized 95% of the time. Each with their own battery storage. Imagine that. Tesla could call them ‘cars’. And that power moat? It’s all fully upgradable. It’s primed to be tripled. Only a handful of Tesla charging stations currently have solar and/or Megapacks. For 14 years Tesla has permitted and built the gas stations of the future around the world. Everyone said it would fail. All of them were wrong. And now Tesla is in a process of creating a possible 10x value stamp on those stations that should have never been built. It makes you wonder, When a vehicle now leaves the Tesla factory; how do we even begin to calculate the economic production that it will generate during its lifetime? It’s a Robotaxi, energy storage, and a fully sealed/cooled compute processor. They may as well start shitting gold out of a tailpipe.

The 1st Tesla Cybercab at the Giga Texas crash testing facility. Hard to say for sure, but this may indicate the vehicle has completed most of the final engineering & production tests out at Fremont and what remains is now at Giga Texas. If this follows how the Cybertruck proceeded, we are likely a month or two before we will see initial test runs of what will be the production version. This matches up with all the equipment deliveries and installation inside the factory that we have been monitoring over the past few months. Cybercab is getting close to existing IRL!

Again… don’t be a dumbass and do stupid shit like this fool just for clicks and attention. Josh West intentionally grabbed and pulled on the steering wheel of a Tesla Robotaxi during a ride to see what would happen. He did it multiple times from the backseat. The Robotaxi responded by braking, giving safety alerts, and contacting support. He also unbuckled his seatbelt while the vehicle was moving and, after the ride, put one of his own stickers on the Robotaxi. The Tesla team reviewed the trip, cited safety violations and property damage, and suspended his Robotaxi access. Then he turned around and made a video titled “I Got BANNED From The Tesla Robotaxi Network… So You Don’t Have To!” No… You didn’t do this “so we don’t have to.” Nobody needed you to grab the steering wheel of an unsupervised Robotaxi. Nobody needed you to intentionally trigger its safety systems. Nobody needed you to put your sticker on a vehicle that doesn’t belong to you. You did it for content. And this is exactly the kind of stupid shit that pisses me, many investors, and many hardworking employees on the Tesla team off. The Tesla team has spent YEARS working their asses off to make unsupervised Robotaxis a reality. Engineers have dedicated countless hours to building, testing, and improving this technology while Tesla fights through regulatory scrutiny and proves the system can safely scale. Then a fool gets access and intentionally fucks with the vehicle for a YouTube video. Think about how selfish that is. Millions of people are waiting for this technology to expand. Tesla employees have spent years of their lives working to get it this far. The last thing the program needs is some attention seeker intentionally creating safety incidents for clicks. If you’re lucky enough to get access to a Tesla Robotaxi, respect the fucking technology, respect the vehicle, and respect the people who spent years building it. Sit down and buckle up. Keep your hands off the steering wheel. Don’t put or do shit on a car that isn’t yours. And enjoy the fucking ride. It really shouldn’t be that difficult.
