Another user Carnasis submitted this crash footage of his Tesla being T-boned while FSD was engaged. Raw video analyzed using CamCutApp telemetry visualization. The other driver was ultimately found at fault after entering the roadway and colliding with the Tesla while FSD v14.2.2.5 was engaged. What makes this crash interesting is that there appear to be multiple contributing factors: • The driver was pressing the accelerator before the collision, causing the vehicle to accelerate to roughly 40 mph. Had the throttle not been overridden, FSD may have approached the area at a lower speed. • A portion of the striking vehicle was visible between the stopped cars before it fully emerged into the roadway. FSD did not react until the vehicle entered its path, leaving only a few hundred milliseconds to respond. By the time emergency braking began, there simply wasn’t enough distance left to avoid the collision. One of the simplest things for humans, but incredibly complex for machines, is anticipating the unpredictability of children. Here FSD rolls up in direct sun, spots the kid way before I did, and applies the brakes. But what came after stunned me. Another bike, and another, then a gap, and another bike (and a bonus scooter). At no time did FSD attempt to jump the gap between the children (even when it could have). There was no jitter or indecision. FSD just patiently waited until they all came around the corner and crossed the street. It stayed perfectly still so as not to scare the children. Just like a human would. I’ve seen a lot of amazing things with FSD, but this one really impressed me on a deeper level. As a father, I’m happy knowing more people are using Tesla FSD to keep their own kids safe and to ensure the safety of the kids on the road.

Since Tesla FSD Supervised got approved to use in Belgium so much footage has been published here on X. We cannot be anything but impressed. I will add one more to that list. This was our first testdrive with FSD Supervised in Belgium.🇧🇪 FSD avoided an crash with a Range Rover. It stopped instantly and saw the car before we saw it. The Range Rover was driving too fast and stopped last minute. The footage doesn’t show us exactly how it felt but believe me when I say Tesla_Calle and myself were deeply impressed. This week we will get a Tesla with FSD Supervised to use for a few days. Can’t wait to also start posting about it here! Tesla Self-Driving stops for an opossum crossing the road on a dark and foggy night. I hope this video really shows what an incredible job FSD did here. It slowed and then stopped for this little guy flawlessly! I 100% did not see it until after FSD had begun slowing down. Has anyone else had FSD slow for animals like this before? I was just recording the beautiful scenery while Tesla FSD was driving my Cybertruck through Yellowstone, enjoying the views and taking it all in. Then, out of nowhere, a herd of elk started crossing the road. Tesla FSD smoothly brought the truck to a stop and patiently waited for every elk to pass before continuing. I still remember the days when all my haters and doubters told me FSD would run over wildlife or anything crossing the road, and that one day I’d get in an accident (never happened btw…) Instead, it handled the situation exactly the opposite. It recognized what was happening, slowed down, stopped safely, and waited, allowing us to enjoy and embrace the rare moment. Seeing my truck calmly handle an unexpected wildlife crossing like this was genuinely impressive. It’s pretty amazing that I went from filming the scenery to watching a herd of elk cross right in front of my Cybertruck… all without touching the steering wheel and pedals.

Because the truck was fully loaded and the road was very steep, the truck was not able to climb further on that road. It would stop in the middle and roll back again and again. The driver tried several times, but the truck could not climb. Then another elderly truck driver went to him and explained something to this truck driver and talked to him for about 5 minutes. After this, the truck driver started the truck and began driving on the same steep uphill road. But there's a problem… in the video, they used Tesla's Autopilot, not Tesla's FSD (Supervised), and compared that to the top offerings in other automakers' cars. CNBC also claimed that Tesla lacked an effective driver monitoring camera, but Tesla does have one—so much so that some Tesla owners complain about its sensitivity. Camera based driver attention monitoring is less strict for Autopilot than it is for FSD (Supervised). Not once in the video did they test the latest version of Tesla's FSD. Consumer Reports says Ford and GM have the best driver assist systems. The Mercedes system they praise in the video is extremely limited and can only work on highways. Tesla's FSD (Supervised) will work on virtually any road in the US/Canada.

Before proceeding, FSD notices the approaching pickup truck, yields until it is apparent that the truck is going to yield for us, at which point it proceeds through the bridge flawlessly. FSD V14.2 demonstrates awareness of one lane bridge, understands that approaching pickup is a potential obstruction, and waits until it is clear that we can proceed. You can completely forget about this happening on any version pre-14. V14 does an incredible job with context and predicting potential future events. And it does it all so quickly and with such certainty. The intelligence is getting nutty.

He’s always been a bit timid with FSD, especially in its earlier versions, but this time he was incredibly impressed by Mad Max Mode, and its ability to maneuver around slower traffic —“it’s reading my mind.” In the end, he said he felt safer with FSD in control than with a human driver. He now says he wants his own personal Cybercab.

I spent a few hours using Tesla FSD V14.3.5 on the Cybertruck yesterday. I said this before, but I honestly think the Cybertruck is the best vessel for FSD. The way it handles tight spaces and sharp turns is impressive. What makes the Cybertruck the best (imo) is the way it can just eat up the road under it. Potholes, rough roads, whatever, it doesn’t matter. Cybertruck glides over everything. That combined with amazing car control is why I think it’s the best, and most comfortable. I just can’t get over how amazing FSD is these days. For the younger generation, self-driving will become the norm. For us, I don’t think it will ever get old.
