Thank you Tesla for making an amazing Cybertruck. Yesterday mine stopped on a dime on a wet road just before we would have been sucked into a crazy landslide. And then I put it in off-road mode and I drove through the landslide once it stopped instead of staying in a dangerous situation and waiting over two hours for it to be cleared. No car like it on the planet.

Many people see Waymo and think they’re ahead of everyone in the autonomous driving race. After all, they’re giving out over 100,000 paid robotaxi rides a week across cities like San Francisco, Phoenix, and Los Angeles with a fleet of 700 vehicles, and on the surface, it could seem like they’re dominating. However, each Waymo costs $100,000 due to the complex, expensive hardware that’s in use. And due to this, they’re losing money on every single ride. For Waymo, scaling this business up means higher costs, and I don’t think it’s a sustainable model, even if the company keeps pouring $ into it. Now, look at Tesla. With a fleet closing in on 7 million vehicles worldwide, Tesla is playing a different game. Instead of relying on bulky, expensive hardware, Tesla uses a much simpler, more cost-effective approach, just 8 or 9 cameras and a powerful AI neural net. This AI, constantly learning from millions of real-world miles, means Tesla’s software gets smarter every day and can be scaled across the globe without needing new hardware for every car. So, while Waymo might seem like it’s leading the charge today, in my eyes, Tesla is quietly preparing to take over the entire field. They’ve created the foundation for something far bigger and is why I believe the true leader in Robotaxis will be Tesla, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it unfold on 10/10!

Really good experience with Tesla service today. They fixed EVERY Cybertruck recall in five hours. They also gave me a Model S loaner. But please look at it and tell me a “normal” person would be happy with this type of loaner. If you are buying a $100,000 Tesla, getting a loaner in this condition is probably very offensive. I’ve always been very forgiving with Tesla. I really don’t care I just want them to succeed. But I’m just imagining like a 79 year old rich granny getting this thing and being obsoletely traumatized by how dirty it is. Can Tesla not allocate some hours to keep loaners clean? Run through a car wash and vacuum it out would do wonders. Plus clean the white stain from the back 😳

Driving through the pure darkness of Yellowstone in my Cybertruck really makes me appreciate how incredible Tesla’s engineering is. Tonight I tested every mode of the Tesla Off-Road Light Bar driving through the pure darkness of Yellowstone late at night in my Cybertruck. It really makes me appreciate how incredible Tesla engineering is. • Ditch Lights - The outer LEDs light up both sides of the road, making it much easier to spot wildlife, rocks, drop-offs, and the edges of the trail. • Flood Lights - The center LEDs shoot out an incredibly wide, powerful beam straight ahead, lighting up the road hundreds of yards into the distance. • Both - This is maximum visibility. The entire light bar comes alive, illuminating everything in front of you and on both sides with almost no dark spots. You can switch between each mode right from the touchscreen and even adjust the brightness to match the conditions. It’s one of those features you don’t fully appreciate until you’re driving through complete darkness. Just an FYI, these lights are designed for off-road use only. They’re incredibly bright and can blind other drivers, so they should never be used on public roads when other traffic is present.

ELON: YOUR TESLA WILL ACTUALLY BE MAKING MONEY FOR YOU “Sometimes people wonder how do you go from this big fleet to actually monetizing the fleet in an autonomous situation? And it's actually a combination. It's like Airbnb and Uber, to some degree. So, there'll be some cars that Tesla owns itself. It's kind of like an Uber fashion. But then, for the fleet, that is owned by our customers, it will be like an Airbnb thing. You can add or subtract your car to the fleet whenever you want. So you can say, I'm going away for a week. Just one tap on your Tesla app, your car gets added to the fleet, and it just makes money for you while you're gone. So you can add it to the fleet for a few hours, for a few days, for a few weeks. Whenever you want it back, you can say, come back. And the car will come right back. And I'm highly confident that the revenue made by the owner of the car will far exceed the actual monthly payment. And then, Tesla will obviously take a revenue share on that, but most of the money will go to the owner of the car. And this is actually going to work. This is what will happen. But then, for the fleet, that is owned by our customers, it will be like an Airbnb thing. You can add or subtract your car to the fleet whenever you want. So you can say, I'm going away for a week. Just one tap on your Tesla app, your car gets added to the fleet, and it just makes money for you while you're gone. So you can add it to the fleet for a few hours, for a few days, for a few weeks. Whenever you want it back, you can say, come back. And the car will come right back. And I'm highly confident that the revenue made by the owner of the car will far exceed the actual monthly payment. And then, Tesla will obviously take a revenue share on that, but most of the money will go to the owner of the car. And this is actually going to work. This is what will happen.
